Has anyone heard of Kimbra before? Started listening to her recently and got hooked.
She is a pop artist from New Zealand who started writing her own music at the age 15.
She has two albums (Vows and The Golden Echo) She has singles and has been with other artists such as Miami Horror and Goyte.

people only know her from that one song with gotye.
This is the first time I've ever heard of this chick, but... she seems okay, I guess. The music itself is decent (too happy-sounding for me, or something), but her videos make it seem like she's trying too hard to be White Janelle Monáe, and Kimbra just can't carry that energy naturally.
The music, though, sounds to me like a cross between Carly Rae Jepsen's stuff, and some of Milla Jovovich's demos. Her & Milla even look sort of similar...
But overall, she's okay/10. I wouldn't search Kimbra out to listen to, but I wouldn't turn off the radio or iPod either.
