>>61031209
Totally disagree. 61 Cygni Ave. is probably the worst song on the album.
>mfw Smut! is objectively the best song on the album and nobody has mentioned it yet
>>61029493
AOTY. This album is fucking great.
Top Tracks
1. Street Level

61 CYGNI AVENUE
61 CYGNI AVENUE
WHATCHU GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU
Hit Parade is the best track by far.
This album is full of great moments, but not really any great songs. Hit Parade is the only flawless and really impressive track.
>>61031234
Way to be. Best track.
>>61031234
Agreed. The ending refrain has a sweet sound to it.
>>61029493
Daily reminder that Neon Indian's best song was made specifically for GTAV

radio mirror park was GOAT
pretty shit album. but interesting that he followed toro y moi from the dead end that was chillwave into the dead end that is 80s r&b/pop/dance revivalism. a few years late even. some of the album sounds like an Onra rehash. some has bits of daftpunk/disco. shit's just less than the sum of its parts.
go pick up a duran duran album, a boingo record, maybe a few prince lps, (go fuck with citypop if you need the japanese aesthetic) and skip this junk.
>>61033968
>what people who don't know shit about music say.
>>61037377
>implying the 80s revival albums aren't way better than the actual 80s albums
nice wrong generation meme
For me the best part is
>Slumlord
>Slumlord's Re-lease
>Techno Clique

Pretty intimate gig was good
>>61038793
Street Level is #2 for my but an otherwise solid list
>tfw mexican
>tfw some tracks like annie and 61 cygni ave remind me of the cumbia music they play at family gatherings
gotta love the eclectic rhythms alan brought on this album
>No appreciation for Slumlord yet
Amazing music video. That comfy retro atmosphere. Those spacey, rainy Tokyo night drive synths. Hnnnnnng
Plus
>AS LONG AS YOU GOT THE MONEY
>>61029534
Not in my top 10 but it's a fun release. Glitzy Hive was my favorite
liked psychic chasms way better
Smut! is GOAT
>>61029534
Yeah, I'd say so.
>>61037377
I'd disagree. I'd say give it another listen, there weren't many records back in the 80s that had textures or songwriting as interesting as this.
It's like 80s synthpop, but it's more dynamic, psychedelic and twisted.
>>61029493
Album sucks after Slumlord
>>61038986
Saw him live in Madison. Really puts on a good show.
