His album, Yeezus, dominated our 2013 Pazz & Jop critic's poll, taking the top spot for Albums and several in the Singles category (though Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" won the latter). For anyone who's paid attention to the music press over the previous year, the results of the poll aren't quite that shocking.

Fucking jesus. Carrie & Lowell was bland as hell.
To Pimp A Butterfly has some good tracks, but they're CONSTANTLY interrupted by some obnoxious skit, which I would normally excuse, but this album isn't lengthy enough on its own to justify them being so prevalent in my opinion.
Currents was alright, but again, quite flacid in relation to Lonerism.
Honestly, despite it not being a great album, I hope In Colour gets it. Some excellent production on this thing, with some GOAT tracks such as Sleep Sound, Loud Places, Gosh...
Then again, p4k could surprise us and give it to New Bermuda. An alright album, but not album of the year at all.
For some reason I think it's gonna be I Love You Honeybear just because it's a really safe pick that a bunch of their writers would have somewhere on their lists

It's so obviously going to be TPAB, that's been the plan for a while. Why do you think no album has gotten above a 9.3 this year? They're not going to give another album a 9.5 and then give the album with the lower score AOTY. P4K screwed themselves by giving their obvious choice of AOTY a comparatively low score of 9.3, so they've spent the entire year protecting TPAB's spot by making sure no other album got higher than that.
Is it confirmed that the AOTY list will be coming out tonight? Or are we speculating?
