I fell in love with this album, my god it's perfect. What are some similar albums/bands /mu/?
check by yourself spoonfeeding nerd
Bump. Also not OP but if I really liked the shoegazey parts what else should I listen to?
There's nothing quite exactly like it sadly.
However there's a ton of unreleased stuff from them on two of the member's SoundClouds

>Glitchy Stuff
Arula
Classic Cinnamon
>Shoegaze-y / Poppy Stuff
No Title Half
Silence
Things to Ponder While Falling
(we used to play this sounded like stars)
There's more in there so just skim through it. Keep in mind it's unreleased so it might not be quite as good as the on album stuff. But it's still more Sweet Trip.
They also have two other albums and two EPs.
Gossamer by Passion Pit
Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts by M83
I hate albums like this because every song is so good that most of the time when the next track comes I keep thinking of how good the one before was
I had someone rec me 28 by Aoki Takamasa & Tujiko Noriko, it's slower but seems to be the most similar album to V : C : D.

You should listen to actual fucking shoegaze though
Fantasma by Cornelius
V:D:C is the same album but with some added Shoegaze bits.
It's so obvious they took influences from that album once you listen to all of it.
