I know it seems cliche but this album really clicked with me when I was listening to it on acid. I feel like it really mimics what my thought processes are like while on the drug. Also frightened and taste especially. The artwork illusion moves a very similar way to how things look when your tripping. And if you focus on one section it makes the other parts move and obscure. Kinda like the music itself. Also when your on acid it's hard to hold on to a though and things can get kinda eratic, once again like the music.

I've taken legit LSD many times, and also AL-LAD
These two lysergamides are as similar as two different strains of weed. AL-LAD lasts about 6-9 hours while LSD lasts for 12h.
Low doses of AL-LAD are mostly visual. Headspace arrives only at higher doses.
Low doses of LSD have headspace first. More visual at higher doses.
AL-LAD is a little less potent. 150ug of AL-LAD feels like 75-100ug LSD (actual doses).

The was larger larger (both thicker and greater in surface area) than most LSD blotter. Took two "tabs" of whatever it was. Lasted much longer than any LSD trip I've had. Complete dissociation for a few hours. World looked like an HDR photograph (pic related), significantly more so than LSD. Don't remember the middle portion of the trip.

The 10 second transition between us and them and any colour lasted for what felt like an hour, then before I knew it I was somewhere I the middle of the synth solo. felt like I was panicking, thought loops. the song is really clever with the synth solo because its just the same notes but played at different speeds, backwards, to give the impression you're listening to different things, different 'colours'.

Not all music, but some music is meant to be listened while tripping. Some people think this is stupid and DUDE WEED LMAO tier, but its not, the trip meshes with the music and the tension and release points guide the thought patterns in a cyclical, cleansening way.
Say you took a tab in the dark, you and your thoughts, there would be nothing to "pull you out", so the chances of falling into shit are greater than if you have a soundtrack guiding your trip.
