this has some better instrumentation than Benji but the long song structures get really old upon multiple listens and the lyrics are almost god awful besides a few tracks. its like straight rambling narratives with little to no content. i liked it a lot at first but Benji was a lot better
still havent finished it but the first song is insanely good and I wonder if there's ever been a song like it lyrically.
While 'Hours...' is not his worst, this is the most accurate post of Bowie's catalog.
