Yeah I love all their songs was just mentioning my absolute favourite. Oceania and monuments were decent in the first 5 listens, but don't have as near as much replay value. Siamese dream, machina, adore, Gish and Mellon collie have aged quite gracefully, and are just generally better albums in my opinion.

Every song you hear on that album is just the rough mixes. They just took the rough mixes and pressed some copies. I doubt they paid anyone who knew what they were doing to master it properly.
So if it's bothering you, seek out the Virgin rip of the album. It's the most dynamic master.

I think it's an OK song. The live versions they did on the Arising Tour were way better. i think Home is one of those songs that got ruined in the studio.
