How did such a mediocre, cookie cutter singer with one Soundcloud hit (not even a real radio hit, just a song with a lot of views on Soundcloud) manage to go platinum with his debut album which had very little promotion and a whopping ZERO features after only selling 22,000 copies in its first week?
How did he manage to not only win a BET Award after less than a year of being a big name artist, but also get to perform at said BET Awards?

This is a pretty huge industry plant though.
I mean he's taken off quicker than any successful industry plant I can think of.
So many, like Raury for example, just completely slide under the radar.
Others, like Travis Scott, get success in their own niche but even though he's doing well, he's not pushing MAJOR numbers, and he's been around for a few years now.
Chance is pretty huge now but he hasn't had a big hit and he hasn't sold a platinum album and again, he's been around for a few years now and it took him a while to become the big name he is nowadays.
Tiller just instantly took the fuck off.
