The only thing that makes her important in her initial Sonic Rainboom, in the show proper she's arguably taken something of a backseat to Rarity and Pinkie Pie in recent seasons.
Twilight is in a weird place now too in that she's technically the main character... but it kinda feels like Rarity and Starlight are in the process of usurping that role this season. With Twilight almost as sidelined as Fluttershy.

Trade Yeah! is pretty meh and also it's a Mane 6 episode, Hurricane Fluttershy isn't an RD episode, though she has a significant role in it. Sonic Rainboom is okay but overrated compared to Party of One and Suited For Success which are far better character focus episodes.
I'll give you Wonderbolts Academy and Testing Testing though, particularly Wonderbolts Academy which practically saved the character after a dismal S2 for her.
