I don't know how I got this way, but I guess I draw pretty fast. And maybe cus I barely ever use guidelines other than the circles for the head/body/bean shape.
I'll post a deconstruction in a second, I think this is a fun idea.

Here we go. I don't recommend trying this method at home until you get properly acquainted with the equine body. Might be a bit difficult to see, sorry.
Basically, I try to make it look not impossible. Whenever I have a new pose or something looks iffy, I look up references and redraw it a few times until I don't have to. I also "try" stuff out in very light pencil before I draw over it.
The bad part of how quick I am is, I feel bad doing full-effort, full page drawings because they still feel so rushed!
