The coat color is much better. Normally I always thought that mane colors that had too many distinct hues always looked a little busy, but I can kinda see what you were going for with the character.
Maybe I'm just biased toward simpler, more analogous color schemes, but I really think her mane would look better if it were just the purple color by itself (since it looks the best in relation to her coat color). If you really needed more than one color in her mane, I would suggest just using a color that's roughly the same hue value as the main purple color, but slightly lighter and less saturated. Kinda like highlights.

He's a bit taller than the average pony, but not quite as big as Mac. I guess Shining Armor's height is pretty much perfect.
His coat is a dusty white, like chalk. The mane is mahogany, and constantly ruffled with no real style.
His tail is always tied up with cords like pic related, but it's the same color as his mane.
His eyes are green, simple enough, and his Cutie Mark is a punching bag that's got X bandages at three points on it.

I made this stallion few days ago for a quick_RP. I want to tweak him a bit and add some more colors to his mane. Also change the mane, I like the hair over one eye but I didn't have enough time to change his hair style before the RP, and now I have no idea how to change it because I can't into art. Maybe freckles too. Also need a qt mark of course.

This is Hyperion. He's a 20 year old unicorn stallion born on October 7th, 1995 and raised with his parents and sister in Manehattan.

When he was an adult, he moved out to Ponyville, and is now alternating between his home there and a seperate home in Canterlot, where he does his job as a crossdressing model. He's now very outgoing and caring, and would do nothing to betray the trust of any friend he may have or make under any means.
One thing you'll never see him without is his collar. It's part of a long running family tradition spanning from his mother's side of the family. The first born of every generation gets an accessory of their choice with their birthstone on it. Hyperion chose a collar, and since he was born in October, his birthstone is the Opal.

Here's my oc, Quantum Nova. Worked about 4 years on a fanfic/back story for him to reverse the stigma of alicorns in the community. I underestimated the undertaking of it and how lazy I was. Fanfic is in its end stage but I never got the motivation to put him down on paper. I wish I could have achieved my goal. He's just a broken dream now, without it he's just another edgy looking OC.
