you can hide threads via a filter, its third party plugin from what i hear, but i just normally just, don't click the threads i don't want to be a part of.
it boggles me how people can share an opinion anonymously for the sole purpose of making them change to conform to their interest. it's kinda petty seeing as they could easily learn to do it themselves instead of voicing their unhelpful opinion.

look at it this way.
you're a consumer, staring at a large rack of chocolate bars.
you look at some, these chocolate bars are good, those, you don't like.
what do you do?
you don't buy them. and you walk away, knowing that if nobody likes those chocolate bars, then the bars will be discontinued and the bar will fall to obscurity.
what happens on 4chan instead is, they don't like the chocolate bar, therefore they pull out their phone, and call the number on the back of the chocolate bar and tell them all the issues of saying shit like "the chocolate its tasteless! i don't like the consistency, it's too milky- make it to fit my wants in a chocolate bar!"
while instead, you could easialy ignore the box of chocolate and go get yourself a soda or something.

No, it's a false analogy. It does not make sense. CYOAs are not chocolate bars. You're using that analogy to distract away from the problem and tell yourself that something is bad is good, or a matter of taste.

I see this thread with an okay CYOA idea, but you have a gimmick. A gimmick of basically forcing us to listen to an audiobook.
So I tell you what I don't like about it. I don't like your voice, it's not something I want to listen to. You sound like a teenager, there's buzz in the background. You do not have an audiobook voice. It is not noir.
The main character's name is really bad. It's clunky, awful, and doesn't seem like anything that you would hear in the show.
So I tell you what I don't like about it, and instead of taking that critique, you say 'don't be a part of a thread you don't like, keep an open mind, your opinion is unhelpful.'
Sure, you don't have to listen to critique, but explaining it away as 'just leave instead of giving your opinion' is bullshit. An image board is not a grocery store, calling up a service hotline is not giving your critique on an idea. That's the fallacy of false analogy.
