Earth Poners come with high stamina and high strength. They're also able to use earth related magic far more effeciently than any other race
Pegasus, of course can fly and manipulate clouds and the weather to a certain degree. You use air based magic more efficiently.
Unicorns have TK and stuff and learn faster than other races. You have a slight efficency boost to all magic usage.
Bats? Limited nightvision, flight, outstanding hearing. But watch out, bright lights or loud noises can get to you badly, even going as far as getting you incapacitated by those.So watch out for bright days and stuff like that.Any darkness/entropy related magic is more efficient
Firesprites are sentient fire kind of, passively emit light all the time and are able to heat things by touching. You are extremely weak to water though. Fire magic is your kinda thing.
Sirenes (No, not the stupid EQG sirenes, more like a kelpie) are pony like creatures living in water. Higher charisma than other races, weak hypnosis, and underwater breathing are your abilities. Unfortunately you can't survive long out of water, since you have to keep your skin wet all the time. As expected, water spells are what sirenes are best at.
Wisps are a manifestation of magical energy, similar to firesprites. You got tons of magic energy but if you fully deplete that you're gone. Your species is nearly rotted out because ponies abuse your energy as kind of livning batteries, making you hunted almost permanently

I might have to specify long. You can survive a few days in normal humidity for example, or almost forever if you permanently stay in the rain.
