Gonna do a bit more practicing tonight, actually. Also, last thread had some interesting critiques of quests, and I suppose I'll add one for my own quest:
I feel that my favorite part of running this was having the characters interact, and writing dialogue is pretty fun. As one anon pointed out though, I think I let the scope of the quest creep away a bit into another genre. I had a lot of forced lore and exposition, and I'll try my best to incorporate it naturally into the setting and not have it be so stark.
Once again I appreciate the criticism I got like two threads ago or something. Thanks for bearing with me through my first quest. It's kinda nice to have a reality check every so often to keep myself from getting an ego or something. I'd hate to go down that road.

I know I'm late, and we've largely moved on, but I wanted to do this.
I'm not really sure what I do really well in Vamp. I think my dialogue is decent, and I think that I've kept a good pace with it. I feel like my characters lack some development, but I'm not really sure how to improve that. I do spend a lot of time thinking through the world and bigger events in the background, so I hope my world building is decent.
I do heavily rely on a D&D 5e based system in the background, but like I said earlier I try to keep that somewhat hidden. Even though I'm rolling dice to determine what happens, I never really say I am. I'm not sure what some players have against a hidden system, though I do fully understand why a blatant system is very much unimmersive.
As for mistakes, well, I've made a lot. I used to run drunk a lot, which would result in OOC talk, or other things that I should have just shut up about. I also didn't develop Mango at all in the beginning because I didn't think the quest would last very long. This was really dumb, because Caracole died because (IMO) it's MC was a dull pile of shit, and I made the same mistake twice. And now I want to give Mango quirks and shit, but it seems too late and Mango would be seen as even more "flip floppy" than she already is.
I also put 'you' when I mean 'your' like half the time, which irks me to no end when I reread my posts.
