Ponyville's not the biggest town, but it's not so small that a filly like Apple Bloom knows all the locals even having grown up there. That is, of course, assuming Tender Taps isn't from out of town. But in either case, he doesn't appear to have been in her class. Different places of learning, or just different rooms? Enough students seem to hang around the school that either Cheerilee has multple classes or there's more than is seen. I tried transcribing this in Sibelius. It was frustrating and I didn’t come up with anything worth showing. I’m not sure what’s an eighth note and what’s a sixteenth. I’m not sure what’s a hollow note (aka half note or whole note) and what’s a solid note (quarter, eighth, sixteenth, etc.). I’m not even sure where the measures are. The treble staff and the bass staff certainly don’t line up together as far as beats, and I’m not sure they’re even meant to be played together. There is a key signature of Bb major written next to both staves, and then there’s a key signature of A major written next to the bass staff. The first chord seems to be two quarter notes played together, but then right below that is the inexplicable second key signature (3 sharps) of the bass staff, and the note stem is written so that it goes off the top note head, so I’m not even sure it’s meant to be a chord. It could be some weird artifact, or it could be the previous chord and measure line from the original piece of music this was taken from. Whoever handwrote this has terrible penmanship. I’m sure someone just scanned some handwritten music and made it fit to some premade staves. I’m pretty sure some notes are missing, too.
Thank goodness we have music engraving software and printers in the real world. I don’t know how Sweetie Belle does it. Maybe having huge eyes makes it easier to read their music.

The lists are generated by having each Anons go though a sorter, which takes a lot of time now that we have 5 seasons, until they get a list like pic related. Then I copy and paste it into excel and run a macro that takes the number of the bottom place's rank and subtracts each episode's rank from it to get the points.
For example, in this list Spike at your Service is last at 120th. Taking that 120 and subtracting Lesson Zero's 1st place gives it 119 ranking points. Then just follow that logic down the line for every list. At the end I added across for each episode for the total ranking points.

The sum of those three differences add up to the total ranking points for that episode. So that ranking calculation I explained in the last post is done across every episode in a singular list based on what number last place is in that list, and then I add the ranking points for one episode across all of the lists for an episode's total individual ranking point amount.

The second large peak on the posts per thread scale was the scruffening 2.0 where /mlp/ decided to panic in MLPG.I think I'll change the layout of these, with a whole month instead of only 2 weeks. Sex and and or anything that is sexy just gets more attention. Anything beautiful really has to be pretty top notch to get noticed. I think one way to avoid that crushing,(understandably so) feeling is to take each piece as an opportunity to see what mistakes you can avoid making a second time around and what you can improve upon.
If it's just for approval or views then, that almost always leads to soul crushing disappointment. Validation is nice, but if you can at least placate yourself a bit, then i'd call that a victory.
I know it's a very tired phrase, but; it should be a labor of love, not a labor of how much attention one can get.
