Were you here during the hiatus leading up to season 4? That was probably the pinnacle of straight cynicism on this board. Absolutely no hope for the show, pretty much all discussion was about fandom-related drama bullshit, and people actually liked the comics. All thanks to the shit about Twilicorn, EqG, and the first scruffening's effects still being felt. That was the lowest point of this board I think.

The real problem is right now we have no drama or enemies. Some people get bored with /mlp/ when there isn't anything to hate. Plus most of our creatives haven't been producing any good content.
