It all turned out to be unfortunate hang-ups preventing Starlight Glimmer from keeping in communication with her childhood friend, but things have a funny way of working themselves out with a little effort. Still, she must wonder what if she had done more then. Not that what ifs are the most practical puzzle,
with so many variables present and possible. Twilight and Spike got to experience that for themselves. But the map's no longer being used with that time travel spell anyhow, and the best question to ponder now is what she'll keep doing from here on out!Maybe this friendship thing isn't so hard.

>NOT A FILLY
I was waiting for the new General to pop up so I can say............
The new episode is on itunes already.
Celestia is alive!
>>26887612
That is not the real Celestia, that is a monkey imposter!
>>26887607
Wow, that was quick
>>26887606
Clam jammed.
>tfw you realize that she'd have never become a villain if she'd had a coltfriend
>stallion
My favourite part of the premiere was how it took a big steaming dump all over the comics.
>>26887625
This is what happens when you don't give her the D
>>26887625
Most villains are villains because they don't have friends.
Which means people without friends are more likely to be evil.
So people without friends should be befriended and if they can't be befriended they should be ignored and not interacted with.
>>26887631
the umbrum were already locked up a different way by the end of that comic, so I'm not sure how that proves anything
WPSHH the mare.
>>26887625
Sounds exactly like every feminist ever
>>26887640
But they want all men killed.
The guards are arresting anyone caught WPSHHing.
>>26887635
>people without friends are more likely to be evil
that explains a lot about this place...
>>26887631
What if they did get free? There was no indication Tirek had gotten out of Tartarus when 220 happened, maybe we'll find out the Umbrum got free from their prison
>>26887625
At least she has Twilight now
>>26887660
is he ok
>>26887636
>the umbrum were already locked up a different way by the end of that comic
What? No. They put the crystal hear back on it's pedestal thing, and the umbrum where vaccumed back into the prison
https://youtu.be/w7EzltEws0k?t=7m30s
>>26887648
That's... not impossible.
Tirek was freed when Cerberus wandered away from the Tartarus and didn't resurface until many episodes later. The exact same thing could have happened here.
>>26887665
The wppsh hit his horsenuts.
>>26887684
Guess he's going to stay a cutie colt forever then.
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
With a baseball bat, oh yeah
>>26887732
Haha, it's flight camp all over again.
>>26887732
I could see Dash listening to the Ramones.
Rarity is in heat! She's a monster that must be stopped!

I reckon Twilight was tied with Sunburst for "cutest pony" in the premiere.
>>26887815
At least the grammar and structure would be good.
>>26887808
What was with the PSA tone?
>>26887594
What is with Pixelkitties and Chaurus eggs?
>>26887818
Starlight was pretty adorable too
still looking for the 'Q' who made this.
mail me - [email protected]
I liked the new episodes. They were pretty ok. Starlight was better than I expected her to be.
Both Twilight and Spike sure seemed to like touching Glimmer a lot
I'm impressed. Will this fandom's creativity never cease?

Shining is the greatest loser in the Crystal empire. Even before Spike.
whoever is making all these webms, can I get a loop of when everyone was reflecting the baby laser. You can have it blast the twin towers if you want.
>Today is National Joe Day
Donut Joe.
>>26887886
I'll do it when I get to that part
>>26887886
>You can have it blast the twin towers if you want.
>>26887883
Shining banged the Empress.
What have YOU done?
>>26887900
>What have YOU done?
I masturbated THREE TIMES today!
>>26887915
Best part right there.
Idea for an episode:
Spike grows close to Starlight, and Rarity gets jealous.
>>26887900
Is that so? He does also thinks its his baby.
>>26887845
Fuck, why am I still watching this.
If it was about 20 minutes shorter I would find this okay. I like the voices for Lyra and Bonbon.
As it is, it's needlessly complicated. Even for an apparent sequel.
>>26887881
>THROWING AWAY YOUR COOTER?!
>>26887943
Take my word for it. It's his.
>>26887891

>>26887822
Apparently you can have a bit of tinnitus in times of extremely high stress,. Like during a panic attack.
Starlight's just that fucking scared of having to face Sunburst after the shit she's done.
Spike has to choose between Rarity or Starlight.
>>26888044
>Dragons having to chose
Dragons get harems. Everyone knows this.

well, his last words were that he was learning how to draw from scratch.
Plus he's the only guy around here that would not use his name.
He already said he comes around every now and then as anon, I'm sure he came to watch newhorse.
>>26888049
He'd fuck Rarity first.
Pony won't stop idly playing with your junk when you two hang out.
>>26888085
That's fine, I'm going to idly play with Pony's junk as well.
>>26888085

CHANGELING CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS COLOGNE LINE
>>26888122
No anon, I just don't want to be *AN hero anymore.
I think this season's premiere was a solid second place behind S1's for most cute. It was kind of nice not having a big antagonist to fight for a change.

Had no idea a new episode was on tv
just got on this thread and thought this was a leaked ep or something.
Am I losing touch with mlp?

>>26887808
She'll lose her wings in the S6 finale.
>>26888149
Have you been around here much the past 3 weeks?
Cause I think that's all the advance warning we got this time around for the premiere date.
>>26888061
>>26888196
I understand that feeling.
heh
>>26888133
You're exactly right. I felt like this tied into the S1 premiere the most thematically actually, feels like lots of stuff came full circle.Don't worry though it was the worst episode ever according to the sticky.
>>26888196
oh and don't forget about their warm, heavy balls just loaded with yummy foalbatter, just hanging there ready for me to lick and suck and sniff
and their sexy, clenching, sensitive and dirty horse buttholes which have never experienced a human's small but stiff and energetic erection thrusting in and out with so much passion
>>26888224
Twilight being a teacher and learning how to direct her pupil with that hindsight by the end of the episode was a treat.I kind of frequent /mlp/, for as much exposure to opinions as possible, and it really is crazy how much they can hate pony sometimes.
>>26888224
Well it was the worst premiere ever so they weren't too far off
>>26888242
>worst premiere
Are you fucking high mate
>>26888242
Leave it to Dash to have shit taste.
S3 was the worst premiere still.
>>26888122
of course you do
>>26888246
I kinda agree honestly. Maybe S3's was worse but they're just about on the same level for me. At least S3 opener had songs.
>>26888256
>asymetrical booping
UNF
I don't really know why everybody is so obsessed with songs.
I've been watching since midway through S1 even, and I never really cared. Some of them were catchy sure, but I never really even cared for songs in big budget Disney movies I guess.
I always think about something else they could be doing in that time. Unless it's a montage song, which is alright.
>>26888265
asymmetrical horsing is superb
>>26888275
Songs are good but non-essential, I think they're best when used sparingly (like how S1 had only three or so not counting Pinkie songs) that way they have more impact and Ingram has more time to perfect each one.
>>26888275
It's cute sometimes because it's something they do in children's entertainment. And when it's done well it not only furthers the plot by informing us about something or by going on during a scene that keeps the story moving, but it's "fun".
When it's not done well I agree with you completely.
Like discord's Blue Flu song? I didn't care for that. It was just Discord going on an ego trip and did nothing.
A good example of a song done well is the Find A Pet song or the Super Cider Squeezy 6000.
>>26888284
>tfw no Sunburst/Starlight assymetrical horse touching
>>26888275
I just like them, they're nice to listen to, they're what sticks with you even after a long time since watching the episode. I don't think I would get as hooked without a Winter Wrap Up, Art of the Dress or Best Night Ever song. I like when the show goes a little musical even if it doesn't really drive the plot anywhere, like aforementioned Glass of Water. It's like a bit of seasoning on the show.
anyone know what song was playing after the bronystate stream of the episode yesterday?
It was a mega mashup of every mlp fim song. was really good but I passed out before I could look it up
>>26888289
>>26888316
Fair enough, Anons.
Surprisingly I actually enjoyed Discord's one. Maybe because I found it humorous or something.
I guess it served a small purpose actually. It justified Twilight's rising blood pressure.
>>26888314
she touched his butt I suppose that counts
>>26888323
didn't hear it, but based on description it sounds like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83lpPH-ozmA

literally canon
Alright while we're on the subject of songs in Pony.

>>26888225

>>26888345
it was a mash up of songs from the show. thanks for the effort tho
>>26888371
It really is. I wonder if that movie gave me the brown girl and hip attraction at the same time. Disney's Atlantis might have helped as well.
[Absence of god]
is it considered gay in equestria to compliment your stallion bro on his balls and cock and maybe suck on them a little
>>26888362
I was never a big fan of cartoon songs to begin with, MLP changed that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzsxfO7dBlAThough listening to all the songs with original dubbing retrospectively is nice, I'll give them that.
>>26887924
>"Haha, look who came out of his cave!"
>>26888402
Everyone likes a compliment. Considering their junk is just hanging out there it wouldn't be too out there to compliment it.
Obviously sucking on it would be crossing the line. You could handle it a little when you compliment it though.
>>26888402
Nah, it's just being friendly.
>>26887984
What is his special talent anyway? Levitating books?
>>26888432
studying
>>26888337
Another thing that came to my mind is that songs are a good opportunity for the show to go wild with animation and visual effects.
>>26888432
Probably just dealing with books in general
I'm surprised he isn't a librarian
>>26888413
Villain songs are always so good, god damn.
>>26888076
He's got two dicks. He can fuck them both at the same time.
>>26888449
Yeah, villain songs are pretty much always the highlight of anything

>>26888241
>I kind of frequent /mlp/, for as much exposure to opinions as possible, and it really is crazy how much they can hate pony sometimes.
I tend to browse /mlp/ whenever MLPG is slow and I am boredor for the comics and stickiesand it always feels like being in a thread with ten Blazangs.
the time has finally come
>>26888481
and so have I
>>26888481
>Gloomy fits on your lap again
It's a good feeling.
>>26888481
I'm gonna watch it again now. Haven't gone though the premiere a second time just yet.
>>26888275
If you use them properly you can even save some time because the montages during songs do not have to be as coherent as the rest of the episode. You can jump from scene to scene without proper transitions.
>>26888481
I wonder how small Gloomy is the instant new horse starts
Subatomic?
>>26888497
I like to think filly size is the minimum.
>>26888358
He probably sees Glimmer as a friend, seeing how they are in a smiliar position
>>26888241
>>26888477
I don't think I could handle /mlp/ beyond MLPG, some quests and a few other generals
>>26888504
Hmm.
But won't her maximum size during the final, infinite hiatus encompass the entire universe?
>>26888444
>I'm surprised he isn't a librarian
Might be because he assumed that he was going to be a great wizard and then couldn't deal with his failure. Similar to Troubleshoes.
>>26888052
Dat animation error
>>26888516
Enjoy her while she's small enough to be around.
>>26888518
What?
>>26888512
You definitely need to be able to read selectively and not be bothered by stuff. Their threads are sometimes even worse than /v/ when it comes to hating the thing they talk about.
>>26888052
>crystal-powered lamp
>heliocentric model
That's actually really fucking cool
>>26888090
Even after the sex is done, she still likes playing with it. Like a worry stone.
>>26888534
>>heliocentric model
Raises the question if maybe Celestia and Luna aren't actually moving the Celestial bodies but are rather just accelerating or decreasing the spin of their planet.
So how long was Sunburst living in the crystal empire?
>>26888548
not really considering how Twilight moved the sun around when she was super saiyan
>>26888534
>>26888548
Wait, Twilight fucked up raiding the celestial bodies in the S4 finale, right?
0/10 this episode contradicts canon the show is shit
>>26888550
I don't know.
How long has it been back for?
>>26888550
probably a year or so, shortly after it came back
>Starlight dodged having to hang out with the CMC helping a pony figure out their cutie mark as her first lesson
Think she did okay dodging that one?
>>26888554
Or, just like in the real world, there were different theories about how the whole thing worked. It more shows that some ponies in the world question their gods.
>>26888555
>>26888557
It makes sense if he's really that much of a magic/book nerd as Twilight. He's probably read through the Canterlot Library as much as Moondancer or Twilight and wanted to get through all the stuff in the Crystal Empire. I don't really blame him.
>>26888560
She was pretty good at manipulating children in the season 5 finale, I don't think she would have had many problems.
>>26888564
Yeah, I was just kidding about the 0/10 part
But still, Discord's fucking with the celestial bodies and Twilight just barely managing to raise them clearly imply that it's a geocentric system
Maybe it's a 1000-year old prop and ponies back then believed in a heliocentric model
>>26888578
Or the equivalent of flat earthers.
>>26888597
>Sunburst is a conspiracy nut
pff
>>26888578
Geocentrism falls flat on its face when it comes to seasons which ponies do have even outside places they control the weather of.
>>26888604
Maybe it's a geocentric system with a tilted earth, I'm pretty sure that'd cause seasons
>>26888700
hnnng
>>26888604
>you'll never keep Trixie company on her travels
>>26888757
You'll just end up being dick life support.
>>26888495
Yeah. I still like it a lot even without the new season hype behind it. Starlight, Spike, and Sunburst made for some cute stuff in that premiere.
>>26888785
not seeing a downside here
>>26888477
That's about right. It's rare to get a thread with anything close to level headed discussion on the show. Seems the slower the better, but now that I think of it that may be the case across the site really.
Catburds
>>26888812

>>26888794
>tiny speech bubble
[squees internally]
>>26888798
The only fast enjoyable threads I regularly encounter on 4chan are 40K threads on /v/
>>26888832
Apart from MLPG I mean. If I didn't enjoy it here I wouldn't come anymore.
>>26888833
We could hardly even be considered fast anymore.
>>26888851
We are still pretty fast, Anon. Most threads on 4chan are slower.
Pony's given up on trying
to sell you things
that you ain't buying
>>26888863
Compared to 2011, which had us go at a rate of a full thread (give or take the difference in image cap) per 4 hours during European prime time, we have fallen behind a great deal.
>>26888888
We used to be the fastest general on 4chan on episode days. I had a pic to show it, too.
>>26888888
Well. Can't argue with those digits.
>>26888888
To be honest I am kinda glad we slowed down, because back then if I had to leave for a couple hours catching up was basically impossible. Nowadays I can even briefly skim through what was posted while I was asleep.
>>26888864
Of course I ain't buying things, I'm fucking broke.
>>26888897
Well, we kind of switched from posting in the thread to posting in the stram chat, the captcha and post timer are too annoying
>>26888888
Nice get.
But really though, in 2011 we were all contained in a single thread. These days we have a whole board. We also have sections of our crowd who stayed on Ponychan and never left, along with infinitychan and... I think there are others.
I mean, no doubt we aren't AS big as we once were, but you have to remember, there are more factors than just "there were more people once."
Honestly, considering everything I just noted, I'm surprised we're as fast as we are.
So many wonderful Glimmer expressions this episode
>>26888477
Speaking of nice things from /mlp/, this is actually a nice idea >>26888551, if only taken a bit too far.
No need to make them actually fall in love, but the conflict could make for a fun episode.
I hope now that Glimmer is in the show we see less and less of Fluttershy
>>26888914
>I mean, no doubt we aren't AS big as we once were, but you have to remember, there are more factors than just "there were more people once."
I'm just bummed it is so hard to have fun during normal hours here in Europe even on holidays.
>>26888934
I live in Australia so I get to see both crowds come and go. It's always been fun.
So it's official that sun and moon butt weren't born with wings?
dat new beacon
>>26888897
We were going at something around 6-8 ppm during the episode yesterday, and that even though a lot of the talking was happening in the stream chat
Still pretty fast if you ask me
>>26888103
Wait, when was this?
>>26888921
Yeah, /mlp/ isn't 100% hate, just as MLPG isn't 0% hate.
But you definitely do see a lot of people there who seem to dislike everything related to the show and it quickly gets tiring to read their drivel.
>>26888265
