I know it's rampant and most of if not all of it is trash. I'm not sure why we don't enforce the idea that all Anon stories belong in AiE. I know why the people who split off do it. They're afraid they won't get noticed and cheered on for their sub-par writing when they are dumped in a sea of other sub-par writing and it's gross that they are so obstinate that this isn't the real reason they make splinter threads. It's kind of disgusting how hard headed and full of themselves they get when they have 1 or 2 people bumping the shit out of their thread. Although this place has always been pretty shitty in terms of show discussion, it's gotten much worse over the past 2 or so years.
