Seemed a little meh to me, the other two map episodes were much better. Even when it first came out I thought it was weird how Dash just went off on her own and didn't really work with Pinkie. For that reason I liked Hooffields and McColts/Made in Manehatten much better. Rara/AJ and Fluttershy/Twilight actually worked together well.

That's fair. I thought it made sense for Dash to go be daring running off for the dangerous solution. Map seems to send out the ponies needed without them necessarily having to work together the entire time. They did end up helping each other in the end.

I can't be the only one that notices it. Starting with S3, Pinkie has been turned up to 11 per se, and has just become obnoxious. And AKR is the worst offender.
She's not a bad writer, she just always writes Pinkie as a screeching joke machine, in episodes that don't focus on her. Biggest examples being Filli Vanilli and this week's episode.
I'm kinda worried about the future. Think the writing will take a turn for the worse with AKR gone?

AKR was quite a good writer.
I'm going to be honest, guys. As somebody who has had one foot off the ride since midway through Season 4 (I was okay with Alicorn Twilight in concept but definitely not in execution—mostly because they desperately tried to maintain the status quo), I'm really fucked scared for Season 6. S5 has been pretty good so far, I guess, but I can't help dread what's coming next.

Bridle Gossip was the first episode of MLP I ever genuinely enjoyed, so it'll hold a special place for me.
Dog and Pony Show had one of my favorite Rarity scenes of all time: "This is whining"
Best Night Ever was a ton of fun and betrayed every expectation I had for it.
Pinkie Pride was amazing. When I first watched it I had no idea Weird Al was even in it till his familiar voice came out during one of his songs. I am dense, yes, but that made the episode so much better for me.
Filli Vanilli is a favorite of mine because she didn't just cure Fluttershy of her stage fright. People give ponka some hate, but I think of it as Pinkie trying to give Fluttershy her perspective on performing, which is terrifying to poor butterbutt.
Crusaders of the Lost Mark goes down as one of my all time favorites of this show, and Mane Attraction was pleasant.
All in all, sad to see her go. She was a good writer.

Its sad it really is. She was on the original writers from the Faust era and now she's gone. Sibsy is out the door as well, leaving Meghan as the only one left. However with rumors pointing more and more to the fact that Meghan might be leaving as the show runner so that she can become head of all cartoon development for all of Hasbro's new shows raises a lot of questions.
