The only thing I actually agree with him on is that the redemption could have had more time allocated to it.
He seems to be way too overly hostile towards Diamond Tiara even after she was redeemed. In reality, parental influences CAN and DO cause children to become bullies.
This guy then goes on to vaguely acknowledge that most of the fandom enjoyed Crusaders of the Lost Mark and then promptly insult them for liking an episode, liking a fan animation, and attacking show staff for a mediocre episode (which was another of his valid points).

Why redeem Diamond Tiara? Why not?
Diamond has been tied into the CMC's story arc from the start. Had it not been for DT's party, and her bullying, the three CMCs would have never met and the CMCs would have never been created.
So, it made sense to tie DT's redemption connected with the CMCs getting their marks. The CMCs helped DT to understand what she was meant to do (use her wealth and powers of persuasion to do good for others) which then made the CMCs realize what they wanted to do with their lives (help other ponies find/figure out their cutie marks). It was nice to see DT and the CMCs' stories go full circle.
BTW, that video review linked above was really bitter and whiney. So much vindictiveness directed towards a -child- character and yet they forgave that adult Sunset in heartbeat because she's "cute." Sunset's redemption happened just as quickly as DT's, but DT's made much more sense.
