Sincere question here kazoku, Vader could not live without his support system, so he wasn't human at all, yet if his organs rot he dies, so would you consider him:

Human

He's a cyborg. All four of his limbs have been replaced. He lost his right hand above the wrist, his left arm at the elbow, and both legs above the knees.
He also has to breathe through an iron lung, and his voice is entirely digitally produced (not just modulated) which is how he can talk and breathe at the same time.
Also there was a really cool scene in Shadows Of The Empire where he tries to use his dark side force powers to heal his lungs, but as soon as it starts to work and he is able to take a breath he feels joy and relief, and the dark side works off of anger and fear so the experience of being able to breathe makes him unable to maintain concentration on his dark side powers. He'd have to figure out how to be angry at the fact that his lungs are healing in order to heal himself with the force.

In one story Sheev had no idea the medical droids used shit tech for Vader's suit because he some how accidentally gave them a shit budget. In other the shitty, out of date suit was intentional to either prevent Vader from being a threat or grow his dark side powers by making him pissy over the suit being trash.

Not true in Vader's case, as his is closer to, say, someone hooked up to an iron lung. Or, to grasp at a more specific analogy, he's an intensive-care patient where the equipment follows him around.

According to the lore, he's a combination of a cyborg and undead.
The suit handles the general maintenance of function , keeping him walking, breathing and questioning faith.
He's far too damaged to function effectively with this condition however, that's where Palpatine's power comes in. As he not so subtly states in the prequels, he killed his master after learning the secret to forestalling death. Vader survives through tech, but he lives through the force.
This of course demonstrates the reason he immediately crashes when the emperor dies; the great Darth Vader couldn't be done in by a couple of blasts of lighting, but would die rather easily when his body was no longer "magically" supported.

Healing is rather power intensive. The dark side is powered through hatred, anger, pain and fear.
Next time you get a headache, try to be angry at the pain pills.
If you get a cut, try to hate the gauze as it keeps your insides inside.
Vader's human too, despite all he's been through; and a sith too, making it even more difficult to summon enough stoicism to maintain his power through the emotional catharsis of healing.
Also, I'll bet money Palpatine didn't tell him anything out of the "How to gain Independence and become Sith Master Cookbook" by Sheev P."

That actually adds a tragic value to his life. He went dark to save his wife, but the darkness killed her. The lung deal is similar; he gained unlimited power, but he can't do anything but destroy with it. So for the character, it sounds like a cool scene.

Dude is remembering the scene somewhat off; It explains that it isn't even the first time he's tried doing it. Vader's attempted healing/Dark Side Revelry falters once his mind drifts to Luke. The scene ends with him lamenting that there is too much of Anakin Skywalker/the Light left in him to properly focus and channel the real depths of the Dark side. Honestly all the parts of SotE that aren't Xizor attempted-NTR fun times are pretty good. A lot of character moments for Vader and Luke, mainly in Vader's quest to fucking murder Xizor and Luke's growth in the Force, and the construction of his ROTJ Saber. Dash is barely in it by comparison.

It was pretty cool how each piece of SOTE media told the same story from different perspectives - Dash was the star of the game; the novel was about Luke, Vader and Xizor; the comic detailed Boba Fett's delivery of Han to Jabba and had a subplot about the swoop gang gunning for Luke.
