People calling ZZ trash are memeposting idiots. It's the fuckin second half of Zeta, just more lighthearted in the beginning and a bit towards the end. If anything, watch it to see the end of Kamille's story and how Haman gets defeated, but also keep in mind that Unicorn draws extremely heavily from ZZ.

ZZ is actually really entertaining. It's incredibly jarring with Zeta which is why it gets a lot of flak, but that can be interpreted as a way of conveying the new cast's disconnect with the suffering of the Gryps Conflict, as it still becomes darker as they become more immersed into the war with Neo Zeon.
