Yeah G, did have a lot of weak parts to it particularly its ending.But I will kinda defend Dess on not wanting to say that she thinks she's becoming Fine, because she didn't want to poison her last days with Shirabe by making her wonder if she's already lost it and who it is she's actually talking too, besides her goal with that fight was just to stall Shirabe so that Ver and Maria could 'finish saving the world' and to keep her alive. You only get two scouts, one with reduced movement range, and you're in extreme close quarters. Plus he has a guy for backup, plus searchlights are there to fuck you up. I've tried getting spotted on purpose to make rhem mortar the dude but I can't tell if I'm missing or if enemies are invincible to it.
Plus each time you die (both characters have to make it) you have to sneak through an annoying woods zone again for like 6 loooong turns. One character is literally hobbling around and you have to get them across rhe map just to fight thisbguy, let alone beat the mission

Then I realized I've shamelessly been ripping off HP Lovecraft's default protagonist for her personality and I don't really have any idea of what kind of plot I should have after running into Genjuuro, and being under the mistaken impression that there was no Babylonian Ghost and she just lost her mind 13 odd years ago. I also zero clue of how I intend to have her handle meeting Chris. So once I get all that hammered out, I'll probably seek out a beta reader and post this thing somewhere.

Her criteria are weird. Hibiki qualifies for a personalized name, but not for "Chris-chan" calling.
She considers Miku her "savior", so she doesn't complain about being adressed honorific-less, but she doesn't even refer to Miku in a specific way, it is still solely through pronouns.
Maybe because she is more intimate(spent more time together, talks to more) relation with Hibiki, that is way she relates to her more freely, while for Miku they don't have the same degree of intimacy while she still admires her enough so she won't complain.
Thinking back at it, it is sorta similar to her relation to Tsubasa before, minus the admiration part, her opinion of Tsubasa pre-senpai days seemed to be neutral

I don't remember the exact dialogue but during their duel wasn't Chris constantly talking about how well her and Tsubasa knew each other? It seemed like Chris had a deeper connection with the sword than anyone else, even if Miku and Genj were instrumental in her rescue and rehabilitation

I think Chris chose to shoot Tsubasa specifically because they've fought with each other together. And for Tsubasa, knowing how Chris fights, I'm sure she knows that if Chris really wanted her to go to afterlife then she'd fill her brains with lead within a second, which is why Tsubasa didn't think that Chris betrayed her or the division at all.
