Using the Brachium shoulders remotely was only for making the claw, not actually attacking the opponent. It's not as unorthodox as DRAGON SURFING, but it's just a bit moreso than Katia's finishers generally just being an upgraded version of the vanilla finisher or Tenia's hitting stuff really hard with a melee attack.

That's something the next game could add - all they'd need to do is build a second Head Saber - but probably won't because the SS needs two pilots to operate properly and there's only 3 to go around. Also there's only one Saber Booster of course.
If they added in GF and FG and let Akemi/Akimi switch who controlled it at any given point it'd be cool. But I doubt they'll do that because it would actually require effort to do, while in GC it took absolutely no effort to do that.
