It'll dodge against inaccurate enemies or inaccurate attacks, but the Type-S is just better suited for tanking through it all.
L-Gaim's enemies last stage were hitting the Gespenst for around... sub 300 damage. Mechsaurus around double that amount, but they would usually miss more often than not.
I assume if I were to take the "upgrade mobility/limit" route I'd probably not have many problems but I dislike glass cannons.

Nov. 11 B and Jul. 12 O is the probably the most broken such combination once you get RKO, but that will lead to some problems with the Grungust: 11/11 B has high SP costs, which can be hard to support in the early game, and 7/12 O is a garbage set for a single-pilot unit. It's probably better to give your main character 1/29 B or 4/16 B; it makes the Grungust a little less painful to use. If you're willing to push through the early stages with 11/11 B, though, RKO will be an absolute rape machine.
