I do like the AEUG colours though. They're bright and stand out but not too much. I think the thing is that we rarely ever see black Gundams, which makes the MkII so much cooler.

I absolutely love the V1, but my favorite is definitely the EX-S Gundam.
So bulky and cool.
The one cause Kunio Okawara to rip his hair out because he didn't design it. 10/10, just sucks that so many of Okawara's future designs aped a lot of what made this thing cool.

Not sure what you mean by this. I think Yas didn't design MS's, just characters. The F91 is one of the only ones I know that Yas had a hand in designing.

I've a thing for alien-hybrid designs.
Heavyarms Custom has pretty much always been my favorite Gundam. At the time it was the embodiment of MAXIMUM DAKKA and it's always had a place in my heart for being my first mecha love.

I like that Saviour too, it just came out in Destiny, when i was sick of Okawara's Gundam designs. Now that the years have passed I have a lot more appreciation for it. Its easily my favorite of all of the Athrun Gundams

Yeah G3 was game-only. Doesn't hurt that the game was a lot of fun as far as Gundam games go, very tight controls and probably my favorite Gundam OST
The CG in the movie is terrible because it was done by Canadians, but the same suits in CG in the game were much better

I like the Strike. It feels like the best blend of stylized and practical to me, and the pack system is great too.
Exia has a special place in my heart for being one of the leads in the series that got me properly into Gundam in the first place. I don't care if it's overexposed nowadays, it's still my Gundamfu.
Second place is probably the Turn A just because it's so weirdly unique among its brethren.

GP00 Blossom is absolutely perfect in my eyes, I have a huge boner for radomes and asymmetry, and this beautiful bastard pairs it with the OG Zephyranthes frame rather than the (IMO miles worse) Full Burnern. I think it's the only mobile suit I would change literally nothing about.

The pants on Raphael were pretty awful. Which is a shame cause Raphael itself is really fuckin' cool. I wish they'd gone with the Dominions variant. Much better evolution of Tiera's suit's design philosophy imo, and it even takes some cues from the Avalanche line. They could've still managed the Seravee II gimmick with an armor purge. Seravee II fixes all my problems with Seravee as it happens, but I'll try and curtail my autism since this is nice thread.

That's what I love most about 0083; it shows this progression from the good guys of MSG into the Titans of Zeta Gundam. The fact that the feddies would build a gundam armed with nuclear weapons like the GP02 shows that things have changed from the 'happy ending' of the original series. Gato and the Delaz fleet using it for their own goals is just icing on the irony cake.

I don't know, the thing that really gets to me about Destiny Gundam is that it doesn't have a unique weapon or a finisher to call it's own.

Ez8 has shooting all it's weapons at once
Wing Zero has the TBR
DX has the Twin Satellite Cannon
Even if these are variations of BIG GUN or just some move done in the series, it's something unique to that Gundam.

The difference in build quality comes down to two things.
First, at the end of the fight burning had lost a piece of armor, one armor was damaged, and there was some cosmetic damage to the face. The destiny on the other hand was completely totalled. It lost most of its limbs and all of its weapons. Something broke on it almost every time burning hit it.
The other thing to consider is that burning at this point hadn't unlocked any of its high output modes or particle intensive/manipulation attacks.

The Freedom just hits me the right way, twin cannons like the F91 and DX are a huge plus. The colors too, more lead Gundam designs need blue feet.

It's so hard to decide. I honestly love a few gundams pretty equally. Zeta, Turn A, Exia, 00 Raiser, 00 Qan[T], Mk. II, Mk. III, and Wing EW are tied for my favorites, all for their own reasons.

Though this version only appears in a musou game, my favourite has to be the Knight Gundam. I've got a thing for designs based on ancient sets of armour. The Musha Gundam variants are up there too for similar reasons. I also liked that it's a little more mystical in terms of powers.

Probably the strongest reason I had to keep playing the same handful of maps over and over was the promise that I would eventually get this suit. Totally worth it.
