If Zero starts on July, it would be the first time that a Garo related show starts with so little beforehand.
Makai senki, Yami, Makai no hana, Honoo no kokuin, Gold Storm... All of them with trailers and release date published months before the actual premiere. The only exception is Retsuden because that was the point, keeping it secret, and nevertheless, like I said, we did know that it was going to premiere after GnK since November 2015.

Good opportunity to expand the world a little bit more with short clips showing what's going on out there.
From one of the earlier books we know the majority of Horror sightings are in Japan, resulting the Order has their people and resources all set in that country.
We also know horrors rarely show up outside of japan, and there are only a handful of knights and priests working in other countries.
There is information of different organizations out there which has no connection with the Order, dealing with Horror problems in the own ways.
It's certainly some things for the staff to go back and look into when they fed up with knights and priests stories.

I liked this one. Someone saw a Horror attack and developed mild PTSD from the event. Normal people don't understand Horrors, so it makes sense nightmares would plague them.

I really like when a franchise knows when to stop taking itself too seriously in order to give us some good laughs. Even then, Haruna had Valid Reasons™ to stop living as a priestess, and your last complaint, which is the most valid one, answer your third one. Besides, it goes with Daigo's character to personally want to play teacher while looking for the Horror. Also, even though it's the "rule" that Knights and Priestss must keep the public from knowing about Horrors, there's been quite a few instances of they breaking this and other similar rules.
