Leo is far and away the best character in the show.
Tusk has gotten better, he's still a little flat but the character's supposed to be no-fun-allowed so that's fine. He's noticeably less awkward in the animal showcase segments.

Despite being predictable as all fuck, Deka 10 years after was an absolute blast. Ban, Houji and Sen barely aged at all. Jasmine and Umeko turned into great christmas cakes.

Is it just me or is the CGI on the enemy base really bad this year? Like they did a great job with the fight effects so far this year but that base seriously looks like something out of the early 2000s where they didn't really try hiding the low quality. I could get it if this was just going to be something that showed up once but it shows up every episode. Still loving the show in every other respect however.

Pray that the Power Rangers movie is successful in Japan then. As things stand, even freaking Go-Busters with its chicken jokes and Buddyroid mascots was considered too serious for modern Sentai. I've only watched a single episode of backlog sentai this whole year so far. Now that it's summer I'm hoping to catch up on my backlog of ongoing stuff which will include some of the sentai (eg Dynaman) releases made since. Then, after I finish all of GARO, I plan to focus on sentai and watch everything subbed starting from Goranger.

No you faggot. Kyoryu was tons of fun, the villains were great, the music was excellent, the transformation device was cool with a simple but still interesting collectible gimmick. The mechs were simple but worked together really well, the heroes' suits were cool. Unique colour set up, first team in a LONG time to not have a yellow, had new or rare colours Cyan, Gray, Violet, Navy.
My favourite characters from the main team were Ian and Souji. King can get fucked.

I don't really like stories like that all the time, but I thought Kyoryuger was a lot of fun. Even if King hogged all the spotlight, the rest of the cast were still super fun and had interesting moments too (Look at Nossan for example), it was cool to see a team with so many members, the action was really good, the insert songs were good and it was just really high energy and fun. It had a great 6th as well and Torin is probably my favorite mentor. Kyoryuger is easily the most fun year I've spent with an ongoing Sentai.
