Package merge, yo. That's if you want to increase the bonuses you already have, and don't want to replace them. You can increase your bonuses by a large amount this way by selecting multiple parts.
Of course, if you want to replace or get new bonuses, you'd have to Pair Merge or Derive Merge with a part that's of a higher quality than your current part.
This is my current build. It's not particularly fancy, and my sense of fashion is crap...

I can't figure out how to save a custom color in paint. I've pressed every button while choosing a color, and triangle on a blank color slot just applies black to the area. No other buttons work, either.

The trophy in this game is a lot easier than GB2, I've pretty much gotten everything except the newtype trophy, ex-collector and "Rescue, succesful!". What's the deal with that? I've revived my ally, both AI and real players, gazillion times and still not getting it.

I got the Eng/Asia Vita version a couple days ago, and I'm loving it. I'd only played a bot of GB1, and I like GB3 much more so far. Anyhow, perhaps a stupid question, but I'm playing on a Vita TV as I have no PS4. The Vita version has some commands (like the Awaken one) tied to the touchscreen. I am using a DualShock4, and the touch pad doesn't seem to register, like, at all. I also can't seem to find a way to remap any of the touch controls to an unused (on DS4) button like R2/L2. Any tips or am I stuck with my broke-ass cheapo setup because I have no money for the 'real' version?

Basically yes, you'd be locked out of the DLC mission(s) unless you have an Asian location vita, since you cannot easily switch profiles with it.
But you can easily acquire the DLC suits in game through the Bounty Hunter mode since people always post the DLC there. There you can fight people using those parts and acquire them.

Pretty late with this but no. A quick check on google actually says that the entire Kojima Battalion only deployed 3 MS Teams; the 4th, 6th, and 8th. That should give you an idea of why there are no 78th squads.

Holy shit, I love shield boosters. I was noodling around and playing with a new build and put shield boosters on for shit and giggles, and suddenly I'm rocketing around the stage, fucking people up one second and shooting off to another victim the next. It's crazy combined with a katana or fists.

Hey guys was thinking of getting this. Is the Vita version complete shit? I don't know much about this game other than customization but I know many games that are also on PS4 can be disappointing on the Vita(Ex. Dynasty Warriors games have to cut down the enemies on screen which is the main drawing point of those games.) I don't even have a PS4 so Vita is my only option unless its out on PS3.

Vita here. How do I check the effects of a given part's "suit feature" ability? Thinking about making a fork of the ability guide in the OP to standardize its localizations to the SEA-ENG script and list some common sources of each ability, but I have no idea where they're getting the JP effect texts from if there's no button I can just press to highlight "Magnet Coating" and have it display "Reaction Rate +3%", etc.

It's a double saber, so yes. Weapons can only come with their own DPS boost. I don't think you'll find an Axe with Whip DPS naturally.

Does anyone know good parts to get MAXIMUM THRUSTERS?
I'm currently using the Psyco Zaku Leg parts, along with the Kshatriya's Arm parts, so that gets me four extra thrusters per limb (2 front, 2 back on the leg parts, and on the bell pepper binders). I've got on another set of Builders Parts thrusters and that's work out nice (I like that they had the attention to detail to make them "rocket" when you use your Boost movement rather than just being decoration).
I'm using the Hi-Nu's backpack, the wings along with the bell pepper arms are making it cluttered. Are there any backpacks with a ton of thrusters (that hopefully aren't overly large).
Are there any other torsos or heads that may have more thrusters/verniers?

I tried the Sinanju, and it has the same problem as the Hi-Nu; the wing gubbinz are clipping into the rear Kshatriya binders.
Really, I hate that the Kshatriya has FOUR goddamn binders; it's an ass to build around them because they take up too much maneuvering space that could have been for limbs.

It comes with EIGHT massive thrusters (two per binder) for the launch animation. I couldn't say no to that.
As well, it does this cool parachute-esque expansion when you fall back to earth after Boosting upwards.

Unfortunately no, as far as I know. Zeonic parts sort of get the shaft comparatively to Gundams (which are the GMs of gundam breaker due to how goddamn many of them there are).

Basically, the propellant tanks go straight out the back where the binders are off just enough. Though, they clip in certain situations. But everything will with those arms.

Funnels do fine on NT, but just like every other option weapon you need to jack up the DPS above about 70k to be rolling in the damage.

Those are endurance levels that involve endless button mashing regardless of your loadout. There's no meta in this game unless you're making a nuclear infinite fallout build or something similar in which case the game is less about seeing your gundam wreck shit but more about pressing buttons in specific manners until the level ends yo.
Does the Martial Arts Hand parts or Axe work better as a CCW meant for part chopping? I'm looking for Legs but they don't come off when I Kampfer shotgun them unlike everything else.

Eh, funnels are more of a fire and forget weapon to bother a single enemy while you area-attack things, particularly if you're in melee or a melee-centered build. You target the biggest mofo while your swings can focus on bringing down mooks swarming you.

Back in GB2 I used to have:
GP01 head
GP01Fb body
GP02a arms
GP03s legs
GP01Fb backpack
The problem with this is that the lower verniers of the backpack will clip a bit into the leg binders. Otherwise they can work well with each other, and from the same series too. And full burnern backpack is very iconic I think you gotta have that.
