I do like how many outfit changes the girls got during the series, most shows nowadays give their characters one design update and call it a day.

It's fucking hard to make x265 keep grain and texture for old cel stuff when aiming for high bitrate, little damage encode. At that point, it is barely better than x264. Not sure if it beats it at all, tried last month and it was rather inconclusive.
And most of all, inexperiened encoders won't mess up stuff with x264, while it seems that x265 still needs kind of esoteric "magic settings".
