Scratch that, we gotta keep things gay.

Last personal gaypost. This artist alone would have me using up at least 20 images.
You think being a music themed anime I would hear about this:

Fuck you.

Keep going.
>>14143743
The only way to stop it is go back in time and erase that subplot from the original script.
>>14143743
¿Por qué?
>>14143740
Wow, Chris got quite the tan.You seriously used time and energy to make a brown version instead of digitally removing the bra? For shame...
>>14143766
Now this anon's got the right idea
>>14143766
Why not both?
Brown and no Bra
>>14143781
Do standar no-Bra first. For science.
>>14143766
If it were a vector or something flat that would be really easy but anything with that grainy look is hard to edit well. Browning is the easiest edit because you are essentially applying a new coat of paint, to remove the bra you'd have to draw new lines and all that shit. Possible, but I don't have the time.
>>14143786
Wouldn't it be simpler to trace over everything but the bra then draw in the rest?
>>14143793
Drawing lines and coloring isn't an issue. The problem is that grainy look is impossible to reproduce (that I know of). And the copy/clone tool doesn't help too much because there is so much color variation.
I could try taking the grain out myself but god damn I'd rather just post it in /w/ or /hr/ and ask them to make a vector of it.
>>14143740

>>14144014
>I suppose there's hope for all of us.
Well, those were 2 very math-based subjects so it's the kinda thing I am good at. They are probably not really representative of what my grades will end up looking like.
How does your professor teach calculus? Emphasys on practical exercises(just jump into the methodology) or on theoretical proof(epsilons and deltas to no end)?
>>14143903
Happy birthday

>tfw I'm fucking dumb at mathematics
>tfw even Nana is smarter than me
>>14144079
That makes me thing
Does Nana mathematics work as a system of base 7 or does she use normal human base 10 system?
>>14144049
Well, it's a "my way or the highway deal" and basically just following the given steps than adapting it to different problems.I'm a business student and quantitative biz majors have to take two specific Calc courses that's slightly adapted to business situations. It had/has a massive failure rate and they keep it that way to prevent lazy people from passing it.
I've mainly just worked from the textbook and YouTube.
>>14144099
From what I've been hearing, she uses the normal one.
She might've not even heard of bases.
Whenever we discuss things like this, I become happy because it seems like most of us are not hikineets.
>>14144070
Nice, could be a little darker.

>>14144156Make the zenbus bigger
>>14144079
Meh, there are probably other things you're good at.
>>14144120
That is like, the worst way to teach calculus, in my opinion. Unless he is teaching partial differential equations, where the applications outside of pure mathematics are so specific and well-defined that you have no other choice.
My favorite way of learning calculus involves lots of demonstration and thinking outside the box. Hell, I still remember most of the interesting problems my professors stuck on my tests.
>>14144147
I've got too much self respect to do nothing with my life.
>>14144165
Because recoloring takes like, negative effort compared to actually drawing. Even I've recolored shit before and I have zero artistic skill.
Also that edit is pretty old.

>Aoi's in Hero academia
Damn, looks like I'll have to pick that up again.
>>14144174
I'm pretty much above average in everything. But then when its math things go tumbling down.
Sometimes I think I just pass the subject because everyone pities me, because I'm usually silent and obedient in class.
>>14144182
SJ stuff always gets better stuff.
>>14144174
When I took calculusin high schoolwe started off with basic differentiation, then single-variable integration. Partial derivatives weren't until multivariable calculus a couple of years later.
>>14144188
What is your major?
>>14144138
Close, she never heard of bases but still thinks and responds in base 7.
So whenever she types that she wants 10 of something, she always wonders why people brought 3 extra.
>>14144203
Highschool calc and calc 1 in college are usually entirely completely the same course. Calc 2 is where the fun starts. And by fun I mean professors with accents you can barely understand that basically just recite the textbook at you.
I still don't know why I had to take any math classes past Calc 1 for a comp sci major.
>>14144208Actually I'm still in high school. I still have no idea what course to take. Looks like I have no future.
>>14144222
> I still don't know why I had to take any math classes past Calc 1 for a comp sci major.
Because linear algebra. That shit's fucking useful if you ever do anything with computational problem solving/machine learning/graphics/physics/etc.
>>14144222
>>14144240
Also, if you go deep into comp sci it gets pretty heavy on the math in general. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambda_calculus
>>14144240
>linear alegebra
You mean like the one thing they didn't make us do?
>>14144251
> Not getting to learn about transformations, solving many-variable systems of equations, bases, eigenvectors/eigenvalues, etc.
You missed out, then.
>>14144203
I worded it in a confusing manner, I didn't mean the teacher might have been teaching PDEs, I meant unless someone is teaching PDEs, I don't see why you'd teach Calculus in a cookie-cutter manner.
Most institutions don't even teach PDEs in any of the Calculi, be it single or multivariable. The way that it's taught is meant to be really cookie-cutter because they solve problems with really specific conditions, so what I normally see is either have a "differential equations" discipline and teach it there or have a discipline just for PDEs.
Of course, exceptions exist: I had PDEs in a weirdly named Calculus IV, despite the fact it didn't really deal with any ammount of topology. It was probably a discipline made for PDEs with a brief introduction to the algebra behind it.
>>14144257
I'm currently getting paid plenty in a job that has nothing to do with that so I don't think I missed much.
>>14144262
My main usage of PDEs (after covering them a bit in calc, though just basic how to use them and the whole vector <-> scalar mix) was in a junior-level physics course where we did stuff with functoids and path-of-least-energy stuff. I liked it but some of the applications did seem overly convoluted.
>/sgg/ - Maths and Physics
>>14144174
Eh, guess I picked the wrong professor then. He seems to teach a lot of the upper level courses and merely does this one as a favor. At this point once I'm done here we just use excel and a few other applications for financial modeling and pitch books. Really nothing exceptionally difficult. We hire people who do the actual math to write programs for us
>>14144287
Quick, now switch from Ryoko-sensei to Fine-sensei and talk about history and mythology!
>>14144287
>>14144293
>history and mythology
Oh fuck yes, those are my jams. Please anon, please?
>>14144287
Welcome to /sgg/. We have Nana and Aoi here.
>>14144079
Your talent most likely lies elsewhere; no condescension intended. A legit 3-day IQ test put me at 122, however, trigonometry kicked my ass a few years later. It's the verbal, spatial, and visualization categories that I'm actually good at. Get yourself into business and make STEMfags jealous.
>>14144237
Plenty you can do in different fields, even without that strong a base in maths.
Also, High-School Calculus blows chunks, maybe you'd do better in the theoretical aspect. Or maybe you'd do better in different manners of exercising mathematics. Hell, a friend of mine is a silver medallist at the mathematics international competition, dude almost got smoked in Calculus. Twice, once in Calculus II and once in III
>>14143912
I literally just got here, what did I do?
>>14144299
Well, we've already covered most pantheons.
You wanna explain to us why our lord and savior, Andrew Jackson, was the best president?
>>14144311
He should probably avoid signal processing and the like if calculus messes him up, though. There are a lot of similarities/shared stuff in the realm of frequency domains, etc. Systems of control should probably be avoided, too.
>>14144311
>>14144329
Though now that I look back, I guess business-focused people won't do much engineering work anyway.
>>14144322
>You wanna explain to us why our lord and savior, Andrew Jackson, was the best president?
He won the most duels on the White House lawn while in office. Beat his would be assassin with a stick. And was generally a badass.
Also he started the manifest destiny policy.
>>14144349
> manifest destiny
But the US doesn't have a king, you can't have manifest destiny without a monarch.
>>14144290
I am actually somewhat familiar with the concepts used in Mathematic economics, since my roomate took the subject and I helped him over the math of it. It's really nothing you need all of the theory for on a surface level. He was probably teaching what he felt was necessary.
Careful, though. If it ever becomes necessary to learn probability or statistics at a more formal level not getting acquainted to the concepts or the way of thinking can be bad. Probability theory is throroughly linked to measure theory, for example.
>>14144312
Don't mind them.
>>14144355
Anon, you might be stoned right now.

I'm going to try some clothing damage shops this weekend but doing anything close to redrawing takes time and effort, browning is simple and mindless.
>>14144396
No, that was Ben Franklin.
>>14144311
My only problem is I've never found a course that interests me so much that I've give my whole heart to it. Honestly I think I'm taking everything half-assedly.
I've been thinking about taking Linguistics because learning languages seems nice, but I think I won't land on a job in my country with that course.
Should we start talking about politics and economics too?
>>14144329
Probably because the institute I go to teaches pretty theory-heavy calculus, but I found Signal processing and Control System theory to be much more practical in nature. In fact, these were the 2 tests I was talking about in >>14143918, coincidentally.
The ammount of Complex analysis involved in Signal processing or Control System theory is pretty light. Case in point, I am the only person in class who took Complex Analysis, and while my performance has been better than average, most are doing Fíne.
>>14144402
>Tsubasa still has a dumb side wing.

This is how WWII got started.
On a more serious note, do you have a knack for learning languages? If you haven't tried learning other languages yet, give it a try, some people love it.

>>14143766
I do have this one at least
>>14144464
But then she just looks like generic anime girl #777777.She's still a miracle though.
And her side wing does have a meaning. Its a reference to an eighth note.
>>14144451

>>14144464

/sgg/ has a disturbing number of qualified professionals.
Don't you people have better things to do with your lives?
Like, you know, the things you do with your lives?
>>14144655
You better bake a cake for Tsubasa's birthday.
>>14144534
not as much as you
>>14144694
I have the licenses for boiler operation, first response and A+ technical support and still no job.
>>14144694
Let them be. Its more fun to have pros in here.
I remember when there's an anon here who's working for a big company and has a big secret that even the government hides or something like that.
>>14144674
that happened to me once in the restroom at work.
Thankfully it was an instrumental, Awakening of Flame
>>14144674
No one who's not already in as deep as I am has ever asked me what I'm listening to
>Not blasting Symphotunes in your car with all the windows open
>>14144704
Wait what?
>>14144704
>and has a big secret that even the government hides or something like that.
It's aliens, right?
It's probably aliens.
>>14144674
If you really need to hide your power level, put some instrumental versions of songs into your phone or whatever.
>>14144713
I didn't understand what he was saying, but it was about that. I think he was a researcher or something.
>>14144694
What they do is up to them.
And maybe we're helping. Look at the Nana anon, maybe one day he'll be a professional translator.
>>14144716
>tfw have 1500+ songs in my phone full of weeb shit and mostly Nana songs, just a few instrumental
This is why I never let people fiddle with my phone.
I should buy a seperate music player so I can hide my weeb music.
>>14144712
I actually do that.
there was one time I drove past the head of the maths department while Tsubasa was AIIIII YEAAAAing in the background, which got a funny look
>>14144694
Getting a comically oversized paycheck just for knowing how to computer isn't gonna magically stop me from being a gigantic dork on my own time
>>14144716
I don't see how hiding your powerlevel should be a problem among your Peers. They won't judge you.
Although one of my Peers thought I was listening to J-pop when it was Finnish shit, and said he found J-pop interesting. Because I miss Finnish shit.
That's the whole point of Peers.
>>14144723
Good thing he didn't refer you to a psychiatrist.I wish I run into one of you guys. It feels like I'm the only /sgg/fag in my whole city.
>>14144684it would happen more often if you went outside
>>14144692
I wouldn't call it close. I pulled the old "haha no need for headphones when I can unplug them and play the song loud enough for people to hear, which means I'll have to manually press a bunch of buttons as fast as I can on this MP3 player to find "play"... Oh, you want to use headphones? Why didn't you say so in the first place?".
Classic.
>>14144694
Go away Nana. Some of us value having time for hobbies.
>>14144694
I teach college mathematics, I don't think I work with anyone who isn't a massive nerd in one way or another.
>>14144724
>tfw I get paid for getting swivel chair spread and "overseeing" processes
Middle management at a small tech firm is literally the best place you can ever be. No skill ceiling, you get to coo over the engineers and pretend to understand what they're doing while they smile and give you condescending but well-meaning looks (I think they're well meaning, you can never tell with engineers), and run team-building exercises every couple of months (plus dodgeball).
It's all the comfort of a sinecure with the satisfaction of feeling like you're doing actual work.
>>14144728
>It feels like I'm the only /sgg/fag in my whole city.
Pff, I'm probably the only /sgg/ inthe entire yoop
>>14144730
>implying Nana doesn't spend her free time doing her hobbies
She confirmed that she buys fucktons of new games and consoles to play when she's free.
>>14144734
Yoop?
>>14144737
Oh no, Nana's one of those awful people with like 300 games in her steam library and over half of them never even touched
>>14144737
>Nana
>free time
Good joke anon. She's just too tech illiterate to obtain a massive Steam backlog like everyone else.

>having steam
She buys discs. Why do you fucks think Steam is the only way to buy games?
Also she has about 4 or less hours of free time everyday, and she has day offs which she uses to either play or go to the mountains.
>>14144744
>spoiler
My condolences.
>>14144748
It waswhite conversation.
>>14144750
>Why do you fucks think Steam is the only way to buy games?
Because nobody buys discs anymore senpai
>>14144749
When she "retires" she's going to go full Enka, isn't she? I feel as though that's not quite retirement.
>>14144754
Well, you forgot Nana's a cavewoman, kouhai.
>>14144748
The conversation was clearly white.
>>14144745
yep
>>14144753
>My condolences.
In defense of da yoop, the weather's great if you like variety.
>>14144694
Sometimes I do music when I'm bored and a few people in my town asked me to make some tunes for a podcast, so it helps me learning music production on my own while still trying to get a degree and a real job.
>>14144755
As long as she doesn't die in a dueting accident two days before it.

Qualified? No. But I can play the sax, work on/under/inside/with a car, and rain lead on steel. All pretty damn well if I say so myself.

>>14144755
Yes. That's her original goal before she decided to be a seiyuu. But being an Enka singer isn't as busy as being a seiyuu and a singer so she'll have more free time.
Lately she's been dropping hints that she'll retire soon.
I can imagine Enka Nana playing Dragon Quest when she has no jobs to do.
