Dallos was pretty good.
There were two to three things that predicted his future shows like patlabor (those using construction vehicles to fight) , Kerberos Franchisen( dogs with red specs , go figure ), pretensious movie style (whole thing was homage to battle fo algiers with scenes in verbatim to the movie itself)
and doing 4-6 ep OVAs in general.
O have observed that Oshii has at most has 2 style -
1) Zany self referancing Meta comedy /black humor
2)Long scenes with lots of visual metaphors
which feels like he forgotten to turn off the camera.
