it's ok, you've fallen into the common lineart trap of needing to fill in things that are separate with different colors, often its better if you come up with a scheme first and then try it rather than coming up with it as you click, or it ends up really with tons of teeny spots of color like that

I know. At some point I realized I didn't like the blue and white so I started filling in red at random places to see what it would look like. All things considered it could have come out much worse, I think, but sometimes making failures is fun.
Which one do you guys think looks better?
This one is a little more busy but I think it works pretty well too.

Pretty much, it's actually amazing how their careers parallel each other

Honestly I'd either leave them white or make them black. The funnels are normally white anyway, and in most cases with 78-2 you're better off just coloring the body and leaving various extensions a neutral tone.

There were at least a few people on /wooo/ who saw the reception Cena got at Wrestlemania and wondered if all of the Reigns fiasco has jsut been an elaborate ruse to get people to stop booing Cena. If so, it's certainly working. As much as I dislike Cena's general character and CENAWINSLOL I don't think Cena got his spot handed to him on a silver platter like Reigns did.
Also seconding Lucha Underground. I still need to catch this week's episode, but I really do feel like LU is the new ECW in terms of having its own product that is distinctly different than what WWE or TNA is offering, and its own brand of diehard loyal fans. It has a good mix of guys who fell through the cracks in other companies (Mil Muertes, Cage, Johnny Mundo) and guys who the US overlooked (Pentagon Jr., Fenix,Matanza) and will probably last quite a while so long as they keep bringing the ratings in for El Rey.

Kind of edgy, but I wanted a more mute color scheme. The reason the hands are red is because I plan to buy an HG Hyaku Shiki and put beam emitters in the hands, and I sort of wanted something to highlight them.

Oh white funnels for sure.
Mixing red and blue in a color scheme is tricky imo, because they're such opposites. I think the best way to to choose one of them to be the color of greater focus, and the other in small doses, like a compliment. Like mostly blue with patches of red, or mostly red with patches of blue.
Too much of both, especially if there's a third neutral tone in there as well like a lot of white or black, (why maybe Spiderman can get away with it.) just makes it look like too much of a clashing mess imo.
Edited the Trooper line art to make it easier to color. All I did was make it so you can fill in a section with 1 click. Thought I'd share.

The white dominant one is definitely better. It puts the focus more squarely on the body, so it presents more as a giant robot that happens to have some gear on its back. The other looks more like a colorful Gunpla.
Tried to go for a "heavy equipment" feel, but I think I might of done too much separation. Thoughts?
