It doesn't have to be personal opinion, though. Take the Gundam chart, for example - while it isn't %100 objective, it does let the newcomers know that 0083 has great animation, for example, or that ZZ is mainly a comedic show.
The Ultraman chart, on the other hand - while I really love its design - marks some shows as "highly recommended" but doesn't explain -why- people like them. Ultraseven is written as 'mature' and is recommended, yet Ultraseven X isn't. Obviously you'll find people that like the latter, but nowhere does it say where these two supposedly adult-oriented shows differ in execution.
I personally haven't read any Devilman at all (all I've seen were the two OVAs from the 80s) and I want to see a recommendation chart that does just that - recommend me the better entries in the franchise.

For one thing, neither that image nor Wikipedia tell me which of these manga are scanlated. This is obviously information that's one Google-search away, but it would still be helpful to write it down in one place.
Secondly, is Devilman Lady worth reading? Is the show a direct adptation, and if so, is it a legitimate substitute to the manga? Take for example Shineseikiden Mars, which is almost a panel-for-panel adaptation, but is still absolutely horrible (and not bevause of its minor plot additions). Also, I read on the wikia that the Amon OVA only adapts the first volume of its manga, but is actually a continuation of the earlier OVAs - how does that work? Where does Devilman Saga fit in, and is it related to the Devil Knights manga? Or to Mazinger Saga? Do the various crossover films (Mazinger, Cyborg 009) fit in any continuity whatsoever?
So yeah, it is a big enough franchise to warrant a chart, and I'm happy that >>13968316 took it upon himself to help fags like me

Of course not. We know that Devilman Lady is a sequel to the Devilman manga. We also know that the Devilman manga never got a full anime adaptation.
Which obviously means that since we never got a full anime adaptation of the manga, it's logical that they are not going to make an anime sequel to a manga.
Therefore, we can conclude, without even watching it, that the Devilman Lady anime is not an adaptation of the manga. Also, if you look at when the manga began and ended, you would see that it actually started before the anime, but ended after the anime. Again, this makes it impossible for the anime to be an adaptation.
I've actually watched it, it's essentially a remake of the Devilman manga's story, but with the Lady twist.

The Amon manga is a spinoff, essentially retelling the final part of the original Devilman manga with a twist, while also adding backstories and other shit in the later volumes.
The Amon OVA is based on the first volume of the Amon manga, which like I said, is a retelling of the final part of the original manga.
The first two ovas adapt the beginning of the manga. Amon adapts the final part of the manga, but with a twist.
The OVA is only connected to the previous two chronologically, since it's a completely different staff and studio.

I've read somewhere that it is the closing chapter to the Devilman storyline. although I'd take it with a grain of salt. It seems more like a futuristic reboot, the same way MazinSaga was to Mazinger Z.

They're not translated either way. Devilman Saga is still ongoing, the last time I checked.

None of the crossover movies fit their original toei tv series counterpart, so no.
Cyborg 009 vs Devilman takes place after the Jinmen arc from Devilman and Mythos arc from Cyborg 009 respectively. The OVA features a completely original story other than that.

The original Devilman manga is enough for most people. Now if you really liked what you read, then yes, you can read all the various spinoffs and sequels. They will probably never live up to the original, but if you like Devilman, then you'll probably like some of them.
The major obstacle though is that a lot of it isn't scanlated. We have Devil Knight, Devilman Saga which are still not scanlated. What would be the point of a chart if a lot of key stories are missing?
I also consider stuff like Nagai's manga adaptation of the divine comedy, and Mao Dante (Shin Maou Dante, its sequel also) to be part of the Devilman mythos.
And then you also have stuff like http://devilman.wikia.com/wiki/Tenku_no_Inu which has some connections to Devilman as well. It's actually scanlated.
Anyway, the Devilman mythos can be big if you consider everything that Nagai has done.
