What would a mecha anime by Miyazaki be like?
The same plot as always.
Castle in the Sky.
>>13905578
So UC Gundam?
>accidental Gundam acquisition
>fighting against Zeon or it's many resurrections
Rinse and repeat the same basic plot for nearly 200 episodes. And /m/ will lap it all up, sure
>>13905605
Why did you bring up Gundam for no reason?
>>13905677
Why are you getting so butthurt? Faggot
>>13905693
Getterautists, everyone.
>>13905695
Me cago en tu puta madre!
>>13905605
>implying the MC wouldn't inexplicably be able to engineer, construct, pilot, and maintain the Gundam by themselves
>>13905575
He already made one.
>>13905575
Planes, planes, planes.
>>13905575
Precocious, enjoyable
>>13905575
Transforming Biplanes or disael powered legged tanks in Belle Époque.
>>13905575
Turn A but the planes are more important
>>13905575
A bit like Giant Gorg I suppose. But starring a young girl and with more biplanes and ecological themes.
>>13905587
>>13905920
>>13906161
Or just these.
>>13906175
Would the girl do a lot of chores?
>>13905920
So Nadia?
Like turn a gundam except with lots of pedophilia
Fun fact: Nausicaa was originally meant to be animated by Sunrise, but they couldn't commit to it because they were too busy with L-Gaim. So Miyazaki decided to make it at Topcraft, which he later converted into Ghibli.
Just let that sink in for a second. Miyazaki would have been a Sunrise employee. He was THIS close to making a Gundam anime, and working side-by-side with Tomino.
And Sunrise's animators would have blown Topkek's out the water.
It's about how humans have destroyed nature's beauty with growing dependency on machines that polute
and it stars a young girl
and she has this face
>>13906466
when the FUCK is Anno going to make that adaptation.
>>13906520
Hopefully never. The CGI clusterfuck of angst and Kushana fanboyism would be even more horrific than anything we've seen from the Rebuilds.
>>13906466
I can believe it. Nausicaa is pretty standard Sunrise fare.
And it would have looked far better than the original. 80's Sunrise with movie budgets basically set the bar for hand-drawn animation.
>>13906567
>he's not a Kushana fanboy
How can you hate someone so handsome.
>>13906615
I like manga Kushana.
I hate Anno's version of Kushana, especially the newest incarnation.
>>13906604
Sunrise is still setting the bar for hand-drawn animation, far more than Ghibli ever has or will.
It's really ironic how one of the oldest anime studios out there is still arguably the best in overall quality, unlike it's brothers such as Toei.
>>13905575
Artsy and boring.
Probably something like this.
>>13905575
A mistake.
Starring young boy from a small rural village in the ruins of the future(sorta). You know with old buildings here and there all overgrown and shit.
While out hunting (probably on a motorcycle that runs on magic or something)he stumbles upon a small party of people walking towards the forbidden mountain
He follows them wondering what they are up to and because he saw a beautiful young woman.
They go into the mountain they all chant something together and it opens up. A giant door slides open and lights come on.
They walk inside, he runs inside after them all stealthy like.
They strip the girl while standing in front of a large glass cylinder and start chanting
They intend to sacrifice her to something. He fights them with a piece of high technology that his village builds and maintains.
They fight back using battle armor, each person wearing different pieces and using different weapons in that armor. Said armor is decorated in primitive paints jewels and feathers and leathers. One person wearing full armor all decked out decides to fight him, the high priest.
It's him and his lost tech sword and speed vs a man in full war armor. He accidentally turns on the thing in the cylinder when it recognizes his blood and the semi sentient mech breaks out of the glass and starts killing the people in the party.
The girl flees with the rest of her people, but she's basically kidnapped by her would be captor.
At that point the mountain, Japanese base Epsilon 14, in ancient, wakes up and begins to send out drones.
Cue him trying to escape from the mecha that is trying to save it's pilot, him, and the girl he's trying to protect, who was groomed for most of her life to be ready to die to keep said mecha sealed away.
It's a love story/environmental/evils of war tale.
>>13907980
>Starring young boy
you lost me
>>13905575
It would be about white knighting for a 12 year old girl that he wants to fuck.
What would Nadia have been like if Miyazaki stayed past the design stage and directed it?
>>13908058
It's called Laputa.
>>13908441
yeah
put an afro wig on Laputa girl and throw in Captain Nemo and you're there
also drop the secret ultramans at the end because it's not Anno
