One of my favourite parts about G is that it highlighted how vastly superior Hibiki and Tsubasa were in power and experience compared to the actual bad guys, with dess and Shirabe shitting their pants just to hold Hibiki back, the three of them freaking out just watching Hibiki's lightshow, and Maria literally never coming out on top of Tsubasa without being a cheatsy little old woman
