It just felt too over the top, I can appreciate what they were trying to do but it didn't gel. The tension of some of the more serious scenes was ruined by weird effects and framing. Gaim's suits looked really nice so I wanted to enjoy it and tried to but it just didn't grab me character-wise, nor was it goofy enough to turn my brain off and laugh to. As another anon said, it varies. Often, you use the Kun reading if the character appears at the end of a compound, and the On reading when it's at the beginning. This doesn't necessarily apply to all cases, but I've found it to hold true a lot of the time.
Single-kanji words (like kuni 国, tsuki 月, kawa 川, etc.) tend to use the Kun reading.
Could someone post pics of Lord Baron from the recent Legend Rider, it was nice to see more of what was considered Kaito's Ultimate Transformation like in the episode title for it back in Gaim.
