We are being told that it got handed over to become the prop for MP Huckebine Mk2.
We are also being told that unlike Gespenst many aren't sure the details of the this tunable version of Mk2, except maybe for a few from Mao Industry.

Parallel development. Gestorben is more flexible in a situation where you can scavenge enemy weapons, MkIIM is loaded with all sorts of onboard equipment and will fare better against a foe like the Einst, Shura, or Ruina where scavenging mid-battle isn't possible.

The reason they won't happen just yet is because the Gunark isn't even on the cover, and they won't cover both 2 and 3 in the same game.
And then there's ACE and ACE P which also have different continuities but they're whatever so who cares.
