The sniper version from OGG is really just because you have both Raul and Fiona on hand now, so they needed a way to differentiate Lightning and Eternal.

Hello guys, does someone have this doujin? Can you please scan the entire page of it if one of you has it?

No Dogeza no buy.
Would someone be so kind, and tell me the requirements, please.
>>13747917
1) Win with Team Cost of below 40
2) Win with a team of below SR (I assume that means your highest guy must be 1 rarity below SR or something)
3) Win while using No Continue
>>13747917
>team cost under 40
>rarity under SR
>no continue
>>13747939
I believe 以下 usually refers to "less than or equal to," so I assume SR units are permitted. Just no SSR units (though it looks like the friend slot is exempted from that requirement).
>Wings of Rean enemies
>>13747948
I have a problem, SSR units rule apply to friend units. As I'm high level I can't see to get an SR unit to join me.
>>13747954
The bosses are kind of annoying but the grunts are just depressing. They explode if you fart in their general direction.
>>13747969
I dunno dawg I just got to them and for some reason they've dodged like 5 different 75% to hit attacks in a row
>>13747973
Look at this fucking retard playing SRW without making the proper sacrifices to the RNG Pantheon.
Come to think of it. I've never played a game where I've watched every show included.
I was thinking of more SRC Custom Units to implement because the customs are very Dodge heavy right now and I'm wondering - has there been any series where the MC unit is a dodger while the Support/Second Tier units are HP/Armor tanks?
>>13748025
Armor doesn't really work with the Winkysoft damage formula unless it's ridiculously-high and/or you have the Iron Wall spirit.
>>13747960
Oh... I had an SSR Support Unit, that must be why I wasn't getting the requirement.
>>13748036
Not that bad against grunts, really, I'll say it's probably more consistent than dodge-tanking since the Rank upgrade system in SRC makes it really hard to just stack on Mobility like you can in regular SRW
>>13747917
I was able to get the S-Rank.
Could someone please tell me the final requirement.

Yes but only at the end of the game.
You can make that a upgrade for Kuzaku though, coming with Blast Blitz Cry Cry Cry, God-Beast Summon (+ MAP Version), and Lemuria Impact, and finally a combo with Kurou.
How do I utilize the Tobikage units better?
It just seems like a such a huge hassle to rely on the whole summon Tobikage then get him to combine thing, but they just seem so mediocre otherwise.

>>13748241
>Heroman and someone who can fly
I use Decieve, it's the one that matches ranges best.
>>13748241
I do Orphes/Odyssea+Linebarrel whenever those two aren't being autodeployed. Their pair bonuses synergize really, really well with each other. As for Heroman, I put it with the R-Daigun.
>>13748230
I do Hind-Kind+Bakuryu, and put Dynames with Saya. I also have SKL with a flyer until I can Wingcross.
>>13748277
Pair bonus synergy's more important than some delusional/outdated notion that people can only pair up with someone from their own show.
>>13748291
You follow the story for shipping.
>>13748298
>that people can only pair up with someone from their own show.
But that's how it should be.
So which linebarrels are worth dumping cash in in UX? So far I have:
Main Dude
Vardant
Fat Yellow One
Pink Loli Death Machine
White Spear Guy
Do I get more, or is that my lot? Are they all worth upgrading?

>Pair bonus synergy's more important than some delusional/outdated notion that people can only pair up with someone from their own show.
Much like how keeping your TV's volume at a healthy level is more important than keeping it at an even number or a factor of five.
>>13748318
>But that's how it should be.
No. No it's not. The overwhelming majority of best partnerships in UX are cross-series.
>>13748321
It would help if you actually gave out names because I have no idea wtf "pink loli death machine" and "white spear guy" are.
>>13748331
Funny you say that, because the volume that's easiest on my ears when playing PS3 games is either 8 or 10 (even number and multiple of 5). And I think the maximum for my TV is 99.
>>13748335
Well then, you play it your way and I'll play it my way.Your way is still wrong, but whatever.
>you don't get Jack Smith in UX
>>13748321
Linebarrel and Vardant are definitely worth the cash.
Later on you get most of Katou's people and, if you get the secret,Ishigami and JUDA. Of all of those, Ishigami and Katou are pretty good for an investment.
>>13748335
Considering that it's Linebarrels, any sentient being with a working respiratory system should be able to use context clues to deduce the ambiguous Machina.
>>13748335
I forget the names.
One is huge, pink, has fuck all weapons and a special power called Nerve Crack(?), piloted by a little girl.
The other is a white mech with a lance.
>>13748346
But you do.
>>13748350
>pink
Nigga, you're color blind.
>>13748362

>>13748346
You do. He's part of the group that joins in the stage after the Heroman finale. Him, Katou, and Masaki at least, with Sakomizu, Lu Bu+Diaochan, and Ishigami possible if you did their secret conditions properly.
>>13748350
Nerve Crack's used by Deceive. And I don't think Shizuna counts as a little girl, and Izuna is a guy. And the white one with a lance is...Tsubaki-hime? The pilot's a redhead woman, right? That one's fucking awesome. Only two attacks, but the 1-3 is ridiculously cost-effective for its power level.
>>13748346
You get Jack Smith later on then where he is. The only guy you don't get is the Kaitou guy who actually pilots a unit. He fucks off instead of joining you as sequel bait.
>>13748368
No, he's talking about.. fuck I am bad with names. The one Soubi pilots. Talisman. You get it automatically in UX since he's not randomly a villain like he was in the anime.
>>13748321
>Pink Loli Death Machine
Is Decieve pink? I thought it was Brown.
>loli
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
But seriously, Linebarrel is great, Vardant is also great, and NAHVU CURACKU - the ability, not the poopy 1-3 move - is good enough to make Decieve good. Hind-Kind is an ok sniper, I guess, Bullet Arm is pretty cool, and Talisman... it hits pretty hard? I dunno, there's probably better later.
>>13748350
Your current mechs are Linebarrel, Vardent, Hind Kind, Decieve, and Talisman. Next one you'll get is Painkiller, which is entirely unlike the anime one and the one you see in L because Miu here is played as MURDERBITCH.
>mfw using the SD Gundam suits despite never having watched or cared about it, only using them because of fucking RotK and Dynasty Warrios
Also what Wei units do you get?
It looks like you only have the three brothers for Shu, Sun Quan + SSX for Wu.
>>13748376
Oh, right. Talisman. That one's not too bad. I like pairing it with Guan Yu. However, like Guan Yu, it falls off in the endgame. It had a longer shelf life for me when I reached 15 upgrade mode, but I don't think I've ever taken it to the final stage.
>>13748318
I need to cross series to write my smut though, and them being partnered makes it more realistic
>>13748384
>what Wei units do you get?

You also get Sima Yi as a Tactician.
I benched the fuck out of the Three Faggots.
>Liu Bei
>Voiced by Yuki Kaiji
It's like they wanted me to throw up in my mouth.
>>13748384
You also get Cao Cao eventually, and the two villain's you've seen by now are recruitable. There is also one Tactician for the three main groups, but one of them is also one of the two beings in the whole game you lose for good and can never get back.
Notably, later on in the game, the four main figures all get an upgrade (though it's before you get Lu Bu, I think? I dunno.), and if you do recruit him you get THE FOUR GODS ARE UNITED.
>>13748399

He's a tactician.
>no Cao Pi
It's important to have a knowledge of the anime here. The anime ended after the Battle at the Red Cliffs, with Cao Cao biting it. We see Cao Pi in the epilogue, but he doesn't actually do anything. Now, in the BB Senshi storyline, he does, since that goes on quite a ways, but they're using SD Gundam Sangokuden, which doesn't.

Cheers for the advice.
Between Linebarrel, Fafner and Tobikage UX is a whole lot of not knowing what the fuck is happening and who to use. Like untranslated J and not being able to hold all these Brains
Speaking of B-WING, mentioned earlier in my faux-list (which at least got some attention this time, silly as my little "game" is), I did another shite attempt in Paint to show off all the variants of the B-WING unit, much like I did to compare the Getter Robos of the game.
>>13748440
To be fair, I've only ever came up with one idea for smut, and that's because it's two series I really like that have similarly named protagonists and a vaguely okay reason for a character from one series to be having sex
>>13748453
UX has a LOT of good units if you actually put forth the effort into upgrading them and figuring out how they work and who their best partner is.
>>13748262
pls response
>>13748453
Right, I haven't finished the game, so I don't know who scales best outside of MCs and close-to-MCs (so Linebarrel and Vardent) and the things that get really good abilities (Nerve Crack), but I have seen all but one of the series in UX, so I know that at least.

>>13748262
>>13748462
Spam the shit out of their finishers and strongest moves, they're EN efficient/ammo efficient enough for that to work. Their 1-3s are all decent too. Anything else, you never use ever. They can make ok mook killers without Tobikage, but they're pretty useless against bosses. If Tobikage ever does show up - say, because the Elshank's useless ass got targeted to hard, or because someone got a lucky hit on Houraioh - make Bakuryu run headlong at a boss and ensure he's hit, because 90% of the time he'll get knocked into combining range.
>>13748483
so like do Leni and Mike ever become not shit then
>>13748230
Fafner Mark Elf and Fafner Mark Impulse.
>>13748487
Mike is the best character on that show, don't you go dissing my bro Mike!Rene has a good MAP when combined, and you will eventually have control over that at will, and she's much better in general than she was in Impact (THANKS GAME, I REALLY LOVE HAVING NO SPAM MOVES!). Mike isn't bad when not combined, but he does have a slight problem in that the games always forget like half his moveset. Including a basic melee move!
Also if you ever NEED to use the decombined forms to hit bosses, there's always their combo, I suppose. It's a thing alright.
>>13748480
Indeed.
>>13748483
If Tobikage appears, just sacrifice the nearest green haired girl you can find, to please him.
>>13748321
Linebarrel and Verdant are the two best units to get focus, most of Katou's guys don't join up until the last few missions, so they kind of lose points there. Pretender has a much better Nerve Crack buff than Deceive, and Apparition is your true sniper unit. Most Linebarrel units suffer from only having two or three attacks (JUDA gets ONE) so they aren't really versatile.
>most of the secrets in UX have a shitload of steps and require a ton of work
>only get said units like five stages before the last stage
What's the point?
>>13748380
>not the poopy 1-3 move
But the attack is great. It absolutely annihilates anything without All Canceler.
Which, to be fair, means it does get shut down pretty hard in late game, but it's nice to have against most of the early-mid bosses.

I-is there nobody here playing BX at all?
>>13748514

>>13748507

>>13748514
Beat it four times in a month and a half back when it came out, put it down to play other stuff, got distracted by mobile games, and now I'm going to start working on the Legend of Heroes Trails games in the meantime. Found DLs for Sky FC and SC so I can play those on PPSSPP, and I bought Trails of Cold Steel last week but I've been too sick to put much time into it, although I am feeling significantly better today than I was yesterday.
>>13748522
How have people been able to play BX beforehand then? Or do you mean that people are mostly playing through UX before moving on to BX
>>13748533
People played through BX since it was new at the time, and after they finished that, went back to play UX.
>>13748533
I have a Japanese 3DS. Got that and UX in December 2013.
>>13748520
It doesn't need to deal damage, it inflicts the most overpowered status effect in the entire series. And knocks a chunk off the enemy's will as a nice bonus.
>>13748533
When BX was new, Ironhax had just come out, so most people played it with that.
At least, that's how I did it. And it's how I'm playing UX.
>>13748542
>it inflicts the most overpowered status effect in the entire series.
Armor Down?
And the problem I have with it is that it's Decieve's longer range move, when EVERY ENEMY IN THE GAME targets Decieve because of its high HP and need to be close to deal damage. And a lot don't play nice and get to 1-2 range.
>>13748526
>Legend of Heroes Trails games

>>13748561
But Matt's always wrong.
>>13748561
Funny, I wouldn't call that the best status in the series either. You forgot Stun.
RE: Status Effects in UX
Everything that's not immune dies too quickly and everything that has enough HP that an effect would be useful on them is immune.
>>13748614
64 without secrets and 82 with (rough estimate) is too much? Ooooooooooooookay.
>>13748622
Especially since you can field 44 on the final stage.
>>13748586
Stun prevents the enemy from doing anything.
Stats down effectively prevents the enemy from doing anything (with their accuracy halved, they'll be pulling 0% hit rates even on your battleships), while also substantially increasing your damage output, since their defense is lowered and you're critting on every attack.
The only thing stun has over stats down is that it prevents the enemy from moving. And if you're worried about them moving, you can just surround them or use Atlach-Nacha.

Underrated SRW song
>>13748622
What is the appropriate size for an SRW
>>13748755
Depends on the cast list and how many units each series has. Fafner and Linebarrels have a lot of units and it's nice for them to get so many reps. So I guess for me I'd like 70-80 (not counting battleships), although with something a series list as long as Z3's, I don't mind having over 100.
>>13748779
I'd go for 20-40 bbqh
>>13748755
Depends entirely on what type of squad system you have in place.
Eighty potentially fieldable units (I'd say pilots but there's cases like A where that isn't the best descriptor) is way too many if you don't have squads, you'll have nowhere near enough deploy slots for everything. It's fine for 2 man squads, great for 3, and maybe a little too few for 4.
>>13748795
No.
>>13748797
>Eighty potentially fieldable units [...] is way too many if you don't have squads
Or it means you have a lot of room to come up with different deploys over multiple playthroughs.
>>13748826
>Or it means you have a lot of room to come up with different deploys over multiple playthroughs.
Ok, see, here's the thing. Most people are going to field MCs, important and good side units, and then a bevy of other things. You assume something along the lines of 20 deploy slots in the endgame. Now, THEORETICALLY, that means you do it in four runs... except most people are still going to field MCs for a few runs afterwards because they're good units, so it'll take a few NG+s for them to get more. And if you're designing a game that takes over 10 full runs for the average player to explore all the content, you have fucked up.
Compare to 2 man squads, which can do 80 characters in 20 slots in 2 and will probably accomplish it in 3 or 4. Compare to 3 man squads, which will almost certainly do it in 2. That's a better plan.
Then there's 4 man squads, which can and will do it in 1, and that's kind of a mistake really since NG+ is going to be a lot samier (see also: Alpha 2)
>>13748845
Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?
I mean, on the one hand that's kind of cool, on the other hand it would be awful if not for Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.
>>13748845
Z2 would've been way better with at least two man squads. You don't even have room to deploy every MC until the very end of Saisei for fuck's sake, nevermind side characters and support units.
>>13748861
>Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?
I think there are still at least half a dozen people you won't have room for.
>Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.
And it probably takes more hits to kill than any other final boss, too, due to LL + no ignore size.
>>13748826
>No
Yes.
>>13748861
>Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?
And that's only assuming Ibis's route. If you're on Arado's or Sanger's, you'll be short one unit, and if you take Kusuha's you'll be short two. They give you LESS units than what you can deploy in the last stage if you get every single secret on all but one of the routes - and remember, a few of those characters are ROUTE SPECIFIC SECRETS - take Kusuha's route and don't join with Haman? Congrats, you can now field 19 full squads out of 20. And that's really, really dumb from a designer's perspective.
>if not for Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.
I say the ones you can OHKO are easier.

I'd be interested in knowing this myself, if only because I'd like to see if playing the DLC for UX and BX is possible while using the Ninjhax method of playing.

The thread on GBAtemp says only n3ds is supported.

strange, because it sure as hell has been working for me.
>>13749256
Just because it's not supported by the creator doesn't mean it can't work, just to not go bitching to him if it breaks something.
On a related thread, the tooth fairy brought me something last night. I wonder what it could be.

Still, you'd expect people to at least try to stick to standards of units already in the game, as opposed to some units having 2400 damage finishers (and less than 1000 regular attacks) while others' weakest attacks are at almost 3000.

I'm a having a problem with that PS2 emulator while running Z. While FPS vary between maps (tundra maps seem to be the worst for some reason), battle animations will some times have this weird drop Ifrom 60 FPS, to 36-38) when a character talks, or the white prompt at the top of the screen shows up when it's a units turn to attack. The issue isn't severe, but I just want to keep the battle animation with as little interruption as possible.

for the record you and matt keep these threads a live so proceed.
one more thing... any of you guys know how the hell to cfw a 3ds?
>>13749839
Bring posted a link to homebrew general. That's your best bet.
>>13749839
I'm gonna pass on the blog. As much as I'd love to have the free time to sit around, play UX, and dump screenshots of the script, I think I'd be more useful to everyone cracking GCs compression. Anybody can do what I was doing.
No problem about the way it sounded. It came out sounding halfway between "Fuck off" and "Please continue this somewhere where it'll actually be saved". So I was bit confused, but it's alright.
And yes, I do know how to CFW a 3ds, but Homebrew general is still your best bet. What firmware are you running, old or new 3ds, and do you have HBL yet?
I still don't know how to get DLC running though. Time to try NTR.
http://i.imgur.com/tH9FMpc.png
For those of you with an O3DS, this is what I used to get a CFW to play UX and BX, not entirely sure how relevant this is anymore since I did it like 2 weeks ago.
>>13749903
>old or new 3ds, and do you have HBL yet?
I got an old 3ds with version 9.2 I did try a HBL a while back
>>13749929
OK. You're pretty safe right now then. The only risky part of this process is downgrading and you don't need to do that. Do you still have HBL? Have you setup an emunand or anything else like that?
>>13749968
Negative, basically got a new SD card and formatted the old one, So I have zero HBL
>>13749968
So, to anyone who might have wanted me to do a UX LP now that it's an open option (and I actually have watched all the series that matter)... Not sure why you want that, but it's not happening any time soon, it'd be NG+3 or 4 (either when I have all the secrets, or when Brera's the only thing left).
BX, though, is a possibility. Maybe. Not in the immediate sense, though, at the very least I'd want to have seen Gundam AGE first.
>>13750003
Uh, didn't mean to quote there.
>>13748277

>>13749995
Use tubehax to block Nintendo's update servers.
http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
You'll need the starter kit, extract it to your sd card, launch the browser and use browserhax to launch into the HBL.
Use the HBL to install menuhax (which allows autoboot into the HBL)
Follow one of the processes to get EmuNAND on your system and backup your SysNAND.
Get RXtools 3.0
Use RXtools to inject FBI to your EmuNAND H&S app
Unlink your NANDs (format your system NAND, then reblock Nintendo's update servers)
Upgrade EmuNAND to 10.3 if that interests you (the servers are under maintenance now, so you probably won't be able to. Don't upgrade to 10.4 if it's released after the maintenance.
Get CTRbootmanager to choose whether you boot to RXtools or HBL.
Download cias and install them on EmuNAND.
>>13750003
Yes, I'm always interested in more LPs.
>>13750053
Thanks, I'll try this asap
>>13750003I have an NG+10 gamesave with all the secrets if you want it.
>>13750064
Oh, and one more thing. Each one of the steps I listed has its own tutuorial. But, knowing this much, you should be able to make sense of what's going on in the 3ds scene. It took me far more time than I cared for to figure out what was going on.
So which game has the worst version of Strike Freedom?
>>13750116
Worst as in horrible or worst as in horribly broken?
>>13750150
Worst as in his least broken incarnation.
>>13750157
SRW Z-3.1
>>13750157
Z3. It loses everything from Z1 and Z2.
K is the most broken though everyone was broken in K. L and UX were the same but still strong.
>>13750116
Strike Freedom is really not that broken in the games. K doesn't count since everyone was broken in that mess.
>>13750072
See, I'd accept that, except I JUST got UX, and suddenly getting NG+10 would be cheating.
Unless you have a way to keep my private file as well as that, in which case I might be interested - would want to finish at least one game first though.
>>13750179
>>13750176
>Everyone was broken in K
Not really, there's quite a few units in K that don't get good unless you feed them a metric crapton of shit.
There's also jokers like Temjin who's supposed to be the MC unit of VO but gets completely outclassed by White Knight in the end.
>>13750191
Don't be a loser Matt get all the secrets in three runs like I did and be a cool guy.
>>13750201
>get all the secrets in three runs
How? With Yllbora glitched as he is, I can't see how you would do lower than 4.
>>13750191
Unfortunately, I have no way of merging the saves - just replacing them is all I have.
But, when you do finish your first run, be sure to mention it and I'll drop the save, as well as the other items needed for the transfer.
