The context is the belt is the guy with the axe's father. The belt man, before he digitized himself, created a bunch of robots designed to feel and then set them loose. Somewhere along the way, they became evil. Axe man dedicated his career as a rider to stopping these machines and ultimately his father. As he is about to strike the final blow, beltdad tries to reason with beltson, but the axe tells beltson to GO FOR IT. So he does.

It can be enjoyable under the right mindset (case in point, seeing Red Baron and Sun Vulcan as wacky Mazinger and Getter Robo/God Sigma knockoffs). Helps that genuine sound effects from anime sometimes got used in the oldest shows.

Also notice that the axe's "WAIT FOR IT" and "GO FOR IT" are gimmicks from the toy, so that kiddies will buy it (see >>13682748 ) . In any other scene of the show, it sounded pretty silly. But in THIS particular scene, it was fucking awesome.
