No, they won't. Why would this need to be done? Jesus bro, don't tell me you don't know how to make subs 'just work', literally a matter of renaming one file. If raws are already seeded there's no point adding another large download.

Excuse me, I've worked with fansub groups before. If you want your stuff to reach a larger public, you do a proper release, and not simply run soft subs over the raw.
And not just that, people like proper releases on standard torrenting sites like nyaa nd tokyotosho.

I don't see how a literal 2 second mux job is any more 'proper' than releasing a script with a link to the raw that it's timed to. Better the existing torrent gets more seeds than seeds get split up between it and a redundant download.

All Russian releases content external subs and people manage to handle them somehow. If you want only subs, it's more convenient to grab them from the torrent. But I don't see any problem with muxing either.

Because that's how subbing practices for anime evolved. In any case, that's not my point to argue (This can take whole day about the advantages and disadvantages). I know for example that not everything can take .ass. In fact, the .ass format is rather limited. The point is, people like proper releases. You may not, but people do, so for those that do, like myself, plenty of people would rather have one file than deal with external subs.
