What robot shows from the 70s are regarded as the best? I'd like to watch most of them eventually (well, the subbed ones).
I really like dated animation, I think its kind of charming, so that's not an issue with me.
Please only 60s/70s stuff, no 80s. I'm in a very retro mood.
Ginguiser is pretty good but it's only partially subbed.
Watch Gatchaman.
>but that's not a robot show
Yeah but like, watch Gatchaman.

Grendizer.
The big ones are Mazinger Z and Getter Robo. The first series were kinda formulaic, but they're still enjoyable. Just don't expect a space opera.
Daitarn 3 gets really funny after a while.
The ones you'd expect, pretty much.
Mazinger Z, the Getters, Grendizer, Zambot, Daitarn, Voltes, and Daimos were the best ones imo.
Is Combattler V subbed?

Yeah, Voltes V too.
No complete Daimos subs, though.

None, Super Robot shows are shit
Daimos
it even has a glorious English dub that's just like watching it on a shitty UHF station you only sorta pick up in 1985

Yep, it was dubbed by Flips back in the 80's.
It's really something else alongside Voltes V English dub.
