Status:
Initial QC, timing check is done on Changeman 4 and the Flashman movie.
TL for Changeman is done through episode 10 (not including movie 1), and Flashman through episode 12.

Yes. If I do remember, there's more foreigners along other toku series: Juspion (the father of the hero), Spielban (the mother of the hero), Jiraiya (the professor who made the suit upgrade), Jiban (the main villain), Megaranger (the tech nigga and the tech blonde)... It's cool, but not common.
Unfortunately, in the case of gaijins, japanese is hard to learn and almost impossible to act (80% of them where dubbed I think).

One thing for sure is, Shir's interest in Sentai entries seems specific; he's not going to touch anything before Dynaman, at least. Not sure how many later Sentai have captions to go on from, though.

Man, Spielban is good & Diana's a cute. But the shows got tons of recicled animation (much more than usual). Same tank and ship exploding every fucking episode... And the mech is just one big joke... Gigantic downgrade. However, if you don't know the ending, try not to get mad: it's the dumbest ending of all time (even hiroshi watari said it's was completely nonsense). Get hyped, but not too much...

To be honest, I understand it.
When you sub shit from your childhood, there's a lot of nostalgia inside the process. It's fun, I did it for 1 year. But when you try to sub early series (specially post-2000) and watched it when you're an adult, things got pretty boring because there's few/zero nostalgia in it. In some cases, it becomes a burocratic process.
It may sounds dumb but, in the very end, nostalgia is the thing that make old toku alive nowadays, specially the 80's pre-Power Rangers (I don't have patience to watch Ninningers, but I must admit I downloaded ep.34 only because of Jiraiya and all that retro stuff from 88...).
