It's not straight up horror but Karas is pretty neat in that it involves yokai from the old folktales. The atmosphere is also pretty dark at times.

1 > Extraction > Ignition > 2 > Severed > 3 > Awakened

/m/+horror is kinda hard to pull of isnt it? because /m/ stuff is usually about fighting and in horror theres usually a theme of weakness or of the unknown. some anime with robots and monsters might be neat tho.

I liked what Eva did by making the weapons the main characters use to fight the monster be just as horrific if not more so than the actual monsters.
