Eiyuu Gaiden Mozaika is pretty fucking amazing in spite of its mediocre animation. And it synchs up wonderfully with Bathory's viking metal albums.

The TV Series, the three OVAs that directly tie in (Roots of Ambition, Big Battle, Last Red Shoulder), and the Armor Hunter Mellowlink are ALL worth watching if you like the series. Past that, watch in production order if you like, but i never cared for any of them.
