This should actually be somewhat obvious, although it's contradicted by the total fucking lack of Gunpla or toys from it.
Then again the other way to look at is that basically anything but current works and MSG is nearly irrelevant to Bandai, since past the Gundam team Zeta doesn't get much either.

I'm surprised SEED remains in the top 10 on average regardless of polls in Japan.
I'm more surprised 00 has taken top amongst the anime otaku over say, plain MSG. Same goes for G gundam.
