Do you like huge slow clunky type giant robots?

>New EDF game is secretly a new Remote Control Dandy game
God yes.
>>13589688
Hmm...is that an upcoming one or Earth Defense Force 2025 or what? I played 2017 and liked it - I really should check out more of them.
>>13589705
Yeah, upcoming EDF 4.1. Unfortunately PS4 only.
2025 has smaller robots

I'm listening.
Fuck this half-assed bullshit and make a goddamned Gigantic Drive sequel or remake already, ugh.
>>13590368
Whaaaaat?
>>13590368
>atmospheric reentry from the moon
GLORIOUS
>>13590368
This is freaking brilliant! Why did no one come up with this sooner?!
Yeah, not bud with Gundam is better !!!
>>13591875
Not the first effort to make golf slightly less boring
>>13591875
Lot of people don't like goofy concepts for video games anymore I guess. When I was on /v/ watching the stream everyone was shouting LOL SO RANDUMB XD when the trailer for that game played.
>>13592367
not muh slightly quirky middle-aged short dark-haired man shooting guns at stuff
>>13589688
Really excited for this, too bad I don't have the PS4 to play it on (yet).
>>13589700
>Remote Control Dandy
You, you my nigga.
WebM looks like Robot Alchemic Drive.
Also, how do I into EDF
>PS4 finally gets some games
>when I'm broke as shit
fuck!
>>13593755
If you have a PS4, get 4.1. If you have a PS3 or 360, get 2025.
Great series and I'm glad to see it keep being brought to the west.
>>13590368
yet another joke mecha game. at least its destructible enviroments which really should be in every /m/echa game.
>>13593755
>>13593789
If all else fails, make sure you have a Vita (in before dead portable console), then get 2.
>>13589688
Man, EDF is consistently awesome.
>>13589688
>punching only
where are muh special weapons?
Oh yeah, sandlot are the guys behind RAD too, aren't they?
>>13592367
/v/ hates everything though
Those physics are fucking hilarious, the monster slides across the ground when punched instead of stumbling, the "dust" when the robot hits the ground is an incredibly lazy sprite effect pasted 4 times, that blood, and this is the PS4 mind you, R.A.D. on PS2 looks about the same

Anon, that might come off as a bit of a surprise to you, but EDF games are made with a tiny budget by a niche company.
>>13594315
This. It looks about as good as 2017 and that's all I expect from them. Insect Armageddon was a bunch of texture and light effects.
>>13594119
>>13594315
>>13594775
Besides, it adds to the B-movie tone the series has.
