What does /m/ think of the Gundam Musou games?
I find it pretty fun, but gets pretty tedious in long sessions for all those parts grinding.
Fun, but too easy. Also range type mobile suits feel completely pathetic like Heavyarms
Fairly good, but the mobile suit representation is horribly lopsided so far.
Got tired of the bad voice acting, generic music that replaced the original soundtrack, and repetitive gameplay after the first 2 games. Also I couldn't beat Char and his Sazabi to save my life.
I've only played the second game. It was pretty fun though I wish there were a much larger, more varied, move list for everything. It all felt the same no matter what cool MS I chose to use.
Wish there would be an Empire version like most other Dynasty Warrior game, I just to create my own pilot and faction.
Also remove the dub and bring back the original soundtrack, Emma's dubbed voice is killing my ears.

The good news for you is that Tecmo Koei (or, more accurately, Sony) doesn't bother to pay for much Warriors dubs anymore, so any future Gundam installments from Reborn on seem bound to be raw Japanese.
The licensed music is a whole different can of worms, however.

Gameplay-wise I think they only got better as time went on. I think 2 and 3 had the best story mode stuff. And I'm glad Reborn had custom music.
