The suit is fabulous.
The problem with its introduction was that it was about Koyomi dying and Haruto literally crying his powers back. If we cared about Koyomi, it would have been better, but it was basically the quintessential gary sue powerup moment. Like, even Kouta's powerups came with a "literally making a deal with the devil" side to it.
And after that, Koyomi was perfectly fine, and the powerup was so strong that the writers had to remove it from the show.
