Hey /lit/, I'm curious. What are the best books covering the Napoleonic Wars?

I heard war and peace is alright but you're probably better off just watching the tv series

what a shite rec, who the fuck are you.
There's countless biographies on literally every side. Man you shithead.
Fuck guys like you.
Here's a few autobiographies of soldiers who served in the war, all good, they're all different nationalities and perspectives, some are superior naturally.

In regards to biography I'd add Patrice Gueniffey's "Bonaparte". Volume 1 is out and it's ~1000 pages, it's Napoleon's early life until he becomes consul in 1802. I think I read there's going to be at least 2 more volumes.
I heard the TV series Roberts did on Napoleon wasn't all that good. However the debate I watched between him and another titled "Napoleon: The Great?" or something like that he did very well, can't remember the word for it but the guy who's supposed to control the debate was a complete idiot and biased as hell but Roberts still held his ground very well.

It's no surprise brits are especially biased against napoleon. In the first minute of the intro the host goes on to cast him in as negative a light as possible kek.
I'm watching it at the moment, I appreciate the recommendations.

There will come a part somewhere around the halfway point I think where they discuss Napoleon's taking of some Egyptian city or something. I won't describe what happened they do it well in the video, but my god I can't remember if he interrupted Roberts and simply spoke over him and laughed or if he made some stupid comment like an ape after Roberts was done. Either way, I was kind of shocked that he was acting like that when he was supposed to be unbiased and objective and letting them speak their case for the audience since they're the ones who vote at the end. What a total fucking idiot.
